Thread: strafeshot2 bug/change?

Haven't seen anyone say anything about this.. but for the pastseveral days strafeshot2 has been acting weird. When friends and I are looking for dragons we'll kill any/all lairs we see, and my preferred method was to use strafe2 on the lair, tagging it and the mobs while the melee types intercept the mobs as they come at me, or in the case of lower end mobs like eopie and kreetle, killing all of'em before they can take 2 steps. Worked nicely.


But now when I target a lair and start with strafe2, when one of the mobs gets to me and starts hitting me, as soon as a mob dies in the cone of fire my combat target switches to one of the mobs hitting me while my look-at target is still the lair. Hitting strafe2 does nothing but have me standing there not dealing any damage, and not changing the combat target back to the lair. Have to use another shot to switch back to shooting at the lair and then go back to strafe2. Easy enough to work around by throwing flushingshot2 into the queue every time something dies, but still a royal pain.


I've also had strafe2 change targets like this when I've had mobs targeted.

I have noticed this too. Its a bug.

I hope its a bug.


The simple get around for this is to press /attack on the new target (i have /attack as macro set to keypad #1 and /peace macro on #4)


Pain in the ass and realy hope they fix this
