OK. . .these are my tentative plans:

Rifleman 4/4/4/4

Scout 4/0/4/0

Medic 0/4/4/0

CH4/4/4/4

Remaining SP : 9

This is just tentative, since I still have many miles to go before Master Rifleman. Just getting some ideas.

Excellent for PvE.

Not so great for PvP.

Really good for PvE. However, I'd go with Medic 4/0/4/0 or 3/2/4/0 instead of 0/4/4/0.

Not as good for PvE as one might think. There is still the problem of things being totally immune to all rifleman damage. I had Rifle/CH, and it just isn't as good as Rifle/Swordsman. I, too, am PvE. The CH abilities just don't help enough.

What fits that description besides Nightsisters?

I'm not a PvP person, so that aspect is really not paramount, however I have considered sacrificing the CH for a melee system such as Pikeman or TKA. I think that would give me a decent PvP template along with the PvE.

I can't be bothered to work out the math (so you may have taken it into account), but you will also need Marksman 4000...

CH/Rifleman is very PvE you can solo also anything with that as long as it on its own 3 pet 80k HAM with high kinetic defense and you shotting the creature with strafe2 gdk nightsister elder and krayt all can be killed this way very easily from my friend who used to be this exact template.

What can't a rifleman kill before it gets to him, besides a nightsister, or something that will take that pet down like it's a gust of wind? I said it before, it's not as good as one would think.

have u ever seen a ch pet 1 pet was tanking a krayt dragon for good while just had so high kin defense the poor krayt was barely hurting it. trust me CH/Rifleman is one scary template for PvE but its not all bad in pvp if you just use rifleman as pets wont last long as they always have one weakness.

It is good. If your pets are dropping that fast, there is something being done improperly. There are pets with good amounts of HAM and high kinetic resists that will last long enough for you to kill anything within reason. And you can have up to three pets at one time, so why not get the three best you can have at once and switch them back and forth while healing the hurt ones when you have called them back to you? Every profession is better than most people give it credit for- you just have to know how to use it to its greatest extent

first, I suppose when you say 4/4/4/4 you really mean master correct?

I was a rifle/ch back in the day. It was good for pve but my guess is that a swordsman/dr. is better in pve. But for fun reasons rifle/ch is pretty fun, or at least I thought so. It was fun to go out hunting for babies or having your 3 companions out.
