Thread: ACK!!!!! there HAS to be a way to get past this

Hey guys, I just recently switched over from Mpistoleer...BH 0/0/4/0...Smuggler 0/0/4/0...Novice Commando. I decided to switch to Rifleman/Ranger. When I had my Pistol template I kicked ass and I was speed capped.I started Rifleman last night and I'll be honest I love it i think it kicks ass Im allready 0/0/0/2. BUT heres my issue... IT IS SLOW AS HELL!!!!!
Im using BE clothing with speed mods, I had my T21's speed sliced and im using Speed Power ups but I STILL cant get my speed down below 3.0!!! now Ive seen other rifleman PvP'rs who fired as fast as I did when I was speed capped, so obviously there is a way to get past it.... soon maybe one of your distinguished Riflemen can inform me of a way to achieve this...... God I hope the only way isnt to spend hours and hours looting things to try to find rifleman attachments or having to spend MILLIONS AND MILLIONS to get them.

Right now, you get toignore 50% of the rifle's delay thanks to your speed mods.However, a MR will be ignoring 90% of it. With an extra 5 speed on top of that, you will be ignoring 95% of the delay. You see how this works now I think

yep pritty much so rifleman is the slowest **edit**test profs at noivce and below high damage but stuipedly slow even with lots of speed add decreases but at master youll think wow this is just a joke even with only master rifleman and not marksmen you'll be shotting at 3.0 with no speed pup or speed slice with the slowest special on a 8.0 t21. like i was now with +7 extra speed tapes i hit cap even with a 9.5 i believe though a 10.0 speed rifle i hit 1.1 with strafe2 (the slowest special). unless you found the worse ws in the world hitting 10.0 with a rifle would bepritty bad so.
to speed up shotting buy +10 in speed tape increase it slight or just wait it out till you finally master the profs buy +7 in tapes and watch those special come out at 1 per sec all day long

yep, have to master it. You can master marksman as well for the +5 speed, or get +7 in attachments and at master you'll fire just about every rifle/special at the cap.

Rifle is slow until you master- this is a no dabble profession- at master you should be almost 2x as fast as you are currently
as for skill order you might want to try to get 0103 or 0033 or some such . the three column in the last 2 gives an AOE which are very nice the 0100 column gives conceal shot which isa shot you can shot pretty much indefinitely at ranges of +50m and never draw aggro (unless you miss a few times or land a bleed )

You might want to consider switching to a faster laser rifle it may not be ap3 but is can have a huge upper damage range and is considerably faster. Also check out DXR6-b's they are faster then t-21's and substantially more accurate in all range bands. both should help you low level specials get faster.
At master as you can not get master marksmen as well *ranger + scout* does not allow for that you will need to have +7 to rifle speed to cap out. if your BE clothes have speed mods you might even be near cap already once you hit master +70 --> +90 speed in the master box is an amazing difference. The nice thing about rifleman is that even 1 or 2 speed SEA's makes a huge difference at the master box

Use this wonderful tool to calculate your actual rifle speed for each special.
The slowest T21 that is actually usable in PvP is 7.4 speed and with 97 riflespeed you cap even strafe2.
However it is interesting that for most rifles Flushing2 is better than Strafe2 until you get at least 96 riflespeed.

i like that damage thing not 100% but its fun to play with and at +98 speed u hit cap with strafe2 with a 10a/s rifle not like youll ever buy one but just saying .
