Thread: Take Cover doesn't make you harder to detect, does it?

From what I read in the FAQ, Take Cover just gives you a bonus to ranged defense. It doesn't make you undetectable, but a lot of people talk about using Take Cover with Conceal Shot. What's the point? If I'm using Conceal Shot, he isn't going tosee me to start shooting at me!

you are correct it does not make you undetectable. - in fact it does not help conceal at all.
it is used in conjunction with surprise shot (surprise... surprise does not work right!) but surprise shot though it is supposed to require it to shoot - it does not. Take cover works best if you are against a lone npc that uses ranged weapons against you.
currently it does not appear to give a reduction to anyone else shooting at you other then the target .
