Thread: idea for sniper shot timers

okies... here is another wacky idea that will probably be brushed into a fire pit somewhere.
1. make sniper shot usable from all stances (standing, kneeling, and prone).
2. Use current timer for sniper shot while standing. reduce slightly for kneeling. reduce a lil more for prone.
3. while standing no accuracy bonus, small bonus for kneeling, normal bonus for prone, increased bonus for prone and under cover. the skills in every profession should support all of the other skills. making the overuse of just one or two special a thing of the past. it would also make proffesion mixing much more interesting to have skills that intertwine within a profession. that is to say, someone looking into dabbling in rifles might just want to take up the cover tree for the added accuracy bonus. im sure we could think of a TON more supporting skills ideas.
4. sniper shot (if made to not break cover) should make all NPC's (npc's but not creatures) aggro the rifleman and ignore other group members when cover is broken. the sniper would the numero uno on any soldiers hit list.
5. new ability.... dive/sniper shot combo. it would take longer for the sniper shot to set up... but you could dive to prone and squeeze off a sniper shot in one round of combat... again... with a longer warm up time than any other stance... but with the accuracy bonus of sniper shot from prone.
