Well, i guess nerfing suppression shots with the latest patch was the last straw...

It will probably take us sharpshooter a year to level now....sheesh

What a waste of my rifleman xps...guess the dev wants everyone to

carrie pistols around in this game.

I don't use suppression fire at all anymore.

Don't need to. I can outrun snorbals.

Of course you can outrun snorballs....right into some uber pirates...heheheh

i dont get all this flaming of the riflemen, i myself am a master and did it without useing supression fire because i was to incompentant to try it lol, yes i wasdumn. But i know now the class very well now. I was 1 of if not the 1st masters rm on Lowca.

You want to make it to master without it, get conceal shot. Go to Talus, and find Torturs. take cover, and use conceal shot with some muon gold, a nice dmg% mind% power up u are good to go. I did it all b4 T21's were on my server. soall u need is a lazer. And now with suprise shot fixed its similar with e higher dmg modifier. Bull Torturs give 3k a pop regular 2k. it was easy and simple. Torturs are what i know. im sure thier are other mobs similar with better exp that dont assist each other also, Tortur is just my example.

When u get master riflemen, I fire my T21 which has a 7.1 delay at ONE second per shot, my chat bar is time stamped so i know, and strafe shot 2 can do between 2-4k to aoe of targets. Pistol and Carb imo are way more underclassed then us now with the latest ks nerfs. be happy to be a rm, i know i am.

I never had suppression shot and I mastered it. Get a faction pet or little furry friend to keep stuff off of you

Chronis, Captiva, heh, I like you guys, I am satisfied with this profession and I like it very much for its difficulty and diversity. And I am not a master either, lol. Anyway, we pretty much own any non-BAF mob, or powerful beings that are by themselves.You guys are one of the first I see that is also somewhat satisfied with this profession.

On a side note: I tried to solo a krayt juvenille, since some ingorant pistoleer said they will be hopeless in gaining XP, except for us Rifleman who will continue to solo Krayts and Dark Jedis. Well, I stayed out 67m, went prone, took cover, and activated my /aim; /conceashot macro. I had 2 downtimes, bringing down the lizard to half health and some action, and minimal mind. After recovering from the second downtime I proceeded to prone and macro, results: Death, specifically, my death. After a while they stop pretending they don't see you and do a jedi warp to your back and spit on you, instantly killing you. More than one attempt, about 7 to be more specific. All results were the same, so not just ANY Rifleman can solo krayts, maybe im doing it wrong. argh, ok bye.

still is that you have T21 on your server...pre-nerfed

I do agree with you that conceal shots are the only

thing us sharpshooters can use now solo...and really

with only one of the big XP creatures (Torture) out there that

aren't socials...

You can get missions for Torturs on Talus, I was getting them with lvl 21 missions. I also found I was gaining much better xp using flushingshot2 in a group of 3 on Endor. We was doing missions there, one guy was a CH tanking. I was stealing all the xp. I was getting 3000-4500xp, and was taking out 3-4 guys at a time.

I started a rifleman on kauri while back, had 4 box in rifleman, then droped it and became master smuggler with some pistoleer skill. got bored and decided to re-start a rifleman on another server.

sad for me, i started yesterday......

that was kinda nightmare, even with all the patience i could.

fight with blue mob was looking like this.

needless to say, i was getting incap every 3 mob.

What was really disappointing for me yesterday was watching the combat window while my friend and I were killing snorbals.

He was using an LLC with no skills trained and was hitting for about 800-1000 damage (no specials) while I was doing about 250-400 (depending on weapon, no specials). The t21 fires about 1:1 with his LLC, an e11 shoots about 2:1 vs. the LLC but both have much lower damage (I'm at4/0/0/2). With a special (HS3, flurry1), I generally hit for noticably less damage than he did with no specials and I ate my mind bar up quick doing it.

I'll post the screenshots later if I have some time.

I'm pretty sure that snorbal kiting is not viable anymore. Unless all you want to do is bleed it 2x and run. With all the changes to movement and accuracy, I believe you'll miss way to much now.

i still kited em after the patch. yeah, it sucks missing 9 times in a row on a mindshot1 (i did) but its still possible. compaired to other mmorpg's have played, this game is a breeze.

Warning Shot doesnt have a timer.
