hello my fellow riflemen!

as i like hitting the dirt, covering myself and sneak up my cruddy mark, i have one question: how is it possible to increase my crawling speed?

is it true, that any TN beyond 40 increases my crawling speed? if this is true, dotravel biscuitswork, if a already have 40 TN? is there a cap for crawling speed in general?

so, i read many posts about those rocket crawler rangers. whats the truth?

My understanding has always been that Terrain Negotiation in excess of 50 counts towards crawling speed.

so, if i buy myself a pair of TN be-clothes (+25) and eat some travel biscuits i should have 75+ TN and crawl faster. i will check this tonight and let you know :>

@aenedor: your are mrifle/mranger? so how fast is your crawling? how much TN do you have?

yes

you can terrain negotiation clothes and then add a group terrain negotiation sea for another 25 (but you need to be grouped to use it)

what I would like to see though is the terrain negotiation flipped

the first 50 gives crawl the next 50 gives climb speed (that way the rangers have a advantage.

is this correct? i was under the impression you had to have the stat in order to increase it, so that only Squad Leaders would be able to use the group terrian mod.

Unfortunately it is correct. Has been a complaint for squad leaders for a long long time. It does not appear to need the SL skill T_T (post pub 24 it might)

nah.. I have always been behind the rangers... I tried to give them conceal (cloak) precu because they wanted it and tried to convince the devs to leave us strafe shot as a nuker special instead...

My only grief with this is using camo, cover and conceal shot. Is the AI that precise that he will run right up to me within two shots? I tend to think that if someone is camo'd, undercover (off the radar), and concealing shot, you won't have any chance to find him. But leave it to the wonderful SWG AI to find you in just a shot or two (hope the talaban doesn't stumble on to this info.

Going ranger / rifleman, by far, is the best temp i've had while trying to master all the combat profs. Having mastered 13 profs, and still have a few more to go, i've considered stopping here. But i then would let myself down by not accomplishing my goal. Being Rifleman will never change. This is the one prof i will not drop till i get Jedi (if i do go that route) and even then, it will take me a few weeks to decide if i want to or not!
