Thread: missing: a shot that hits!

Ok, i was working on trapping for ranger. Threw a p-dart, it stuck. The bantha was 47M away from me when i crack off my snare shot POOF! 0m...no snare. If that's not enough, my first FOUR shots are a miss. I don't get to hit the bantha till i was half health. From here, i hit him a couple more times, then i see the inevitable -MISS- -MISS- -MISS- 'you have been incapacitated by a dwarf bantha, noob'
OK, when i start missing like this, what is going on? I know with a rifle at point blank my accuracy goes to to sh**, but 4 misses in a row, and three more at the end? Something's got to give. I thought pikeman was bad with all the misses. My mug is on the back of every milk container

i had that happen to me once, but i also killed a NS elder the other day that couldnt hit me i think the games just really dam buggy still.

actually, your accuracy is the same even at point blank range now. Just thought id say.

hmm im woundering if your only using kneecap shot also do your traps cause rage which i believe stops kneecap shot from sticking

i rotate from improved/advanced headshot (whichever one it is) and ranged shot. It comes in spurts, sometimes i don't miss, then sometimes i am bantha poodoo. The traps i usually use is the p-dart and the glow wire trap. Everyting else is about useless.

I've noticed this too, I'm a MRifleman/MBH and half the time I don't seem to be able to hit the broad side of a barn. I would think that my professions would combine for a rather accurate template, but that doesn't seem to be the case. I especially enjoy when I miss a couple shots in a row when shooting at a lair. I'm a Master Rifleman and I missed a large pile of rocks? How embarassing.

I generally don't have problems with missing too much. However, I have noticed that I miss lairs much more frequently than creatures/NPCs. At least, I think I do. Maybe I'm just overreacting since it used to be impossible to miss lairs.
