ok guys,

i am a CL9 Marksman/Scout and am using a DL20a Rifle (CL5 required) and am well on my way to becoming a Novice Rifleman (50k more XP ) and am wondering what Rifle i should upgrade to so i can mix it with the big boys in my guild who hit for the hundreds on the level 71 mobs...

any suggestions are welcome...i have about 45k in the bank

There aren't many rifles you CAN chose from for a while, so... get what you can...

Do get a good spraystick at CL 14 though, they're pretty ok damage wise and willserve you well until you get to CL22.

When you look for a rifle, esp. at the higher CL levels, chose the one (within your price range) with the highest MAX DAMAGE andlowest SAC (in that order - never mind the DPS, it's a nonsensical value)- also look around on the Bazaar (Vendor search, whole galaxy) and compare rifles and their prices - often you can make very nice bargains.

On a long enough timeline, the survival rate for everyone drops to zero.

1) Master Weaponsmith, Master Artisan, Master Merchant
2) Master Teräs Käsi, Master Swordsman

You should master marksmen first, this will give a goodish combat level to get you going in the Rifleman Tree, putting some medic or scount in you should have about CL22 to get the E11 which isnt a bad rifle, the good thing about doing less damage in group the lvl 80 rifleman while deal lots of damage and you won't so you only need to hit a few times to get the full exp that you will get.

also annoy rifleman to give you the DXR-6b as this rifle is pritty crap now . i left my 2 in bank incase they might change the damage type or increase the damage.
