Thread: cover and he still can see me!

I started cover 300meters from my target and crawled all the way to him (Note:the cover was successful).
My target was among a group of people. I was 100m away from all when 1 of his friend suspiciouslyrantowards me and blow my cover!
How was he able to see me?!?! there was nothing around me 50m radius atleast and this guy somehow was able to see me.

He could have used /findfriend if you had him on your friends list or the /tar name. Are you sure the conceal was succedful? I have had issues when the conceal failed but yet the icon was under my name. Did you send any /t to him?

Last I heard there was a bug that even under cover you would show on radar for a short time right when you came into radar range. He probably saw a blue dot blip on the radar and ran out to investigate. You may have also been using poor hunting tactics. Most BH's add the jedi to their friends list to make sure they are online and never remove them. They also send tells to the jedi giving away their names. It is possible the jedi added you to his friends list and then did a find friend, or if you sent a tell then they could just type /target "yourname" till you popped up.

Easy...turn your graphic options to simple for shadows. This gives everything a little round shadow including rifleman with cover and Jedi with cloak.

reminds me...if you cover with your gun...your gun doesn't turn invisible does it? mine doesn't..that gave me away to my friends once (note they did not use findfriend)
