Well it's good for PVP(Flurry+Supression) but besides that not really, unless you like aiming or use warning shot.........

CM's are like nukes. You have them just incase you need them, but as soon as you start using yours the other guys start using theirs and everything goes to hell-PyschoticChipmunk -The First line of the Riflenomican.

getting to ranged support iv gives the following bonusses

skil mod:

alertness +10 (don t know what it does)

ranged defense +6

general ranged aiming +30

melee defense +2

asaid the defenses (wich surely imho aren t woth all that points) isn t general ranged aiming as important as rifle accuracy? i mean doesn t it apply very time we have to hit something? (so it s very usefull imho)

and what the hell alertness does?

abilties

aim :a master rifleman doesn t need it (perhaps in pvp?)

threaten shot (better warning shot)

tumble to various position (what the hell is this usefull for?)

warning shot (usefull with mobs that aggro you)

suppression fire: usefull

i am really thinking about it... and btw as master rifleman haven t we a very high cap of combat exp? so if i drop them i think that with the cap we have we should be able to regain all the 4 boxes right? (this means when i want to pvp i just reget them)

please give me some feedback

Well, you need it to get master marksman if you don't feel like paying millions to cap your speed.

Along with this, it's good for PvE as well. When I'm out hunting NPC Imps, Stormies have a tendency to run from my pets and shoot instead of melee. Flurry + Supression fire helps keep them stationary long enough for me to blast them

I'd say keep it for now. /SuppressionFire and /WarningShot are nice when levelling. Once you reach MR, the only part that is much worth it is the /Aim command (which is also nice for levelling when used with /ConcealShot )

Hope that helps ya

Oh

Well, in that case, I'd drop allof Ranged Support except maybe the first box so I can /aim for defense stackers. The other boxes can still be useful, but much less at MR than pre-Master.

Have you guys had much success with surpression fire in PvP? I've been trying it a little but it seems since everyone has such huge defenses now it takes multiple tries to get them kneeling, where you could of just fired 5 headshots in the time it took to kd dizzy them instead where they have a pretty good chance of getting up quickly too.

I do not, under any circumstances (well, maybewhen fighting beginners ), recommend SuppressionFire for PvP. As you say, it's just too hard to pull off. Perhaps SupressionFire2 from the Carbineer tree is better, but not many Riflemen/Carbineers are around to ask
