Thread: kryat question

ok, its not the killing of kryats thats hard (although it takes me like 45 mins to solo one just spaming conceal shot from 60 odd metres away) its how you find them. i go to the grave yard and ive spend the good part of an hour driving up and down looking for these darn beasts.... any suggestions on how to find them?

They wander around that whole area, you can find them hundreds of meters from the POI. Also, you might be between spawns, the last time I was out hunting we killed 3 of them in the same area in about 15 minutes then we couldn't find any of them around for the rest of the time we were there.

A Ranger's /areatrack is your best friend in this situation

any one know the spawn time on kryats? also is a good to go when the server just comes up (do they possibly always spawn then?)

There is no spawn timer for krayts like there is for some of the popular static MOBs though I'd say right after server restart is an excellent time to go hunting

I find them in an area about 4,000 meters long (north-south) starting about 1,000 meters north of the graveyard and about 2,000 meters wide, starting 500 meters east of the graveyard (a picture would make that easier, but I think you can get the picture - more area to the south andlittle west of the poi). If you don't find them up north close by the graveyard, you can usually find themin thesouth. Don't be afraid because your POI marker says you're 2,500 meters from the graveyard - you can still find them. Most folks will only be looking up north anyways, so you are more likely to not be bothered by kill stealers the further away from the graveyard you are.
