Thread: Want to solo the krayt... But where to find it ?

I want to solo it, but Im not sure where to seek. Ive tried the krayt graveyard but dont see any krayts there or near it, am I just too inpatient ?

yes, they spawn pretty infrequently. If you hang in the KG long enough, a few will pop out and say hello.

Drive circles in an oval, mostly to the south and not super far east and west of the graveyard. I find the most krayts just along the base of the mountain range to the south of graveyard, up to 3k meters.

mm well found a canyon krayt spawn, bout 600m SE from the POI. Killed 3 and got no loot 
Btw, should I use strafe2 or headshot3 ? I killed those with headshot, and giving them a bit boost with my dot janta knifes (Im a Rifleman/Fencer.

I beleive Headshot3 with mind dot's will drop it the fastest. However, if you are fighting for looting rights, go with Strafeshot2. Since looting rights are based on damage, it doesn't matter how long it takes to kill as long as you pound away with hard shots till it drops. I can't speak from personal experience about the the Headshot though as my server is in constant compitetion for looting rights.
