I am working on rifleman but with my other profs can only take 2 trees in rifleman. I may master first seeing as it was my first holocron profession (not sure though) but will eventually get back my other skills. Anyway, with only 2 trees to obtain which trees are best? Also one of the trees can only be up to level 3. I was thinking the sniper tree is best since it is the one with accuracy, concealmant also sounds good. Is it better to be 4300 or 3400...or even 4003? Any help is greatly appreciated, please give me your reasons for one route or the other thanks.

I personally feel that the riflemen profession sees more change between master and 4444 than any other profession, making it a poor "dabbling" profession. I do recommend you go through and master it first and then see if dabbling works for you. If you were to try this, you would be quite slow, but it could still compliment your template. I would recommend that you use riflemen for the mind attack as a dabbler, so 4004, in order that you will have the most accuracy, a good mind attack(headshot's 1 and 2), an area attack (flurry2) and the most speed you can get without master.

Meh, the only real rifleman are master or those working to master.
Well that depends on what you want to do. I'd highly suggest picking up therifle special abilities line for speed and flurry (dizzy) shot for both are rather handy in PvP and PvE. Something to keep in mind is rifleman sucks until near master and is best at master. Don't expect to become powerful from just taking up two lines but do look to compliment your current build with rifleman.
If you're looking to kill players from a distance pickup Sniping for both head shot 3 and sniper shot. The problem with this is you'll have a very high miss rate since you only have two lines of the four completed. I've seen countless dabblers pickup sniping with the thought that they could wear out my mind only to have them go incap from me working them over since masters will hit 10x more often then non-masters. I'd also look to pickup both counter sniping and abilities for the use of both area dizzy and area stun (flushing and flurry shot). This will also let you use the DXR-6b disruptor rifle for acid damage.
If you're intentions are on PvE I'd highly suggest the abilities and concealment lines since conceal shot allows you to attack NPCs and creatures without the high risk of being attacked. It won't stop you from being attacked but will give you a greater chance of killing the target without it agroing on you.
If you're looking to template for defenses pickup the abilities and conceal for both added ranged and melee defense or pickup counter sniping for block and status change defenses. Once again you'll have to check your current character build to see if these defenses will work with your primary combat class.

If you are not planning on mastering Rifleman than you are probably better off dabbling elsewhere. The great majority of the Riflemans power comes from that Master box.
You could pick it up for the HeadShot and MindShot. However you will also want to pick up the Rifle Special Ability branch to increase your speed.
Also keep in mind that they may be changing the pool targeting attacks. One rumor is that you have a reduced chance of hitting the targeted pool based on the size of what it represents. So MindShot and HeadShot which represent hitting the head will have a low chance of targeting that pool. So it will be more random.

Thanks for everyones suggestions... I would never expect a dabbler to be anything equivalent to a Master. My only reason, partially for choosing rifleman is that being a combat medic I need a combat skill to complete in killing my opponent whethever pvp or pve. And with also being doc 0440, the only combat skills I can accomplish with any reason is one of the marksman skills. I really like rifle and have since I started doing it for my first holocron a very long time ago. My biggest complaint with the rifle has truly been the speed and the accuracy.. I am only at 1001 right now and the accuracy is horrible, and with a rifle speed of no greater than 4sec it is only worse. Based on what I have heard so far 4003 is probably my best bet. Like I said I may master and then drop back to that so I can get my doc skills back. If anyone has any more comments please post. Thanks,
