Thread: Ranged Combat Bug Or Is This Intended ?

I have noticed on a consistance basis now that after the Image Designer Patch I am getting bugged in combat. If I am attacking a target with ranged attacks , headshot ,strafe2 whatever and something melee hits me my target will auto switch to the target that melee hit me. Ex: doing a mokk mission , wanna just blow the lair and colect my credits , 64m start srafe2 shooting and run around , once a mokk tags me I am then stuck in some combat limbo where my log will still have the 10 or so strafe2 shots going but I will not ahoot him nor the lair till they clear, ( i have cleared them and I still have to wait 1 second per spam that was logged so there is no way out of the combat deay), I hav etried to peace out and go back to combat but that doesnt stop it either , Now if this is SOE's way of slowing down the 15 seconds it used to take a rifleman to blow up a mission lair and hop back on hi bike thats fine. But here is the kicker , the bug happens in PVP . You can have someone on the verge of incap, his buddy punches you , target changed and you gotta take the beating from him till your combat log clears itself, cant do sniper shot on an incapped player , you cant even change targets to get back at the original guy you were killing or incapped. Am I alone in this bug or do any of you rifleman have the same Problem?

I've seen this before. I think it mostly happens when using AoE attacks and it seems to only effect certain specials. I'vehad it happen when using my TKA specials but have with Rifleman and Swordsman.I've just been putting in /bug reports.

Ive been having the same problem , and that bug sucks , you just get locked in combat till the combat spam clears up then you have to kill the agro all around you and only then you can kill the lair .... then you have to add up the 1 every 6 missions getting bugged and not paying up and the bike warping bug leaving you 300 meters behind the target and the pushing you up to the agros in the next second...



When you get to hell tell them that i've sent you .... you'll get a group discount.

This happens to me as well when using strafe2 with janta/mokk missions. Only thing that seems to clear it is when you run out of range of the lair and peace. What sucks is that you can't attack anything, not the lair or the NPCs when it is stuck. Never had it happen in PvP yet though, I assume it will soon though, and at the worst possible moment

yep.. happens to me ALOT lately with strafe2.

i break it by targetting any mob nearby and launching headshots til it dies. that seems to fix it each time.
