Thread: i heard there is a marco grinding for this prof can someone tell me what it is

i heard that u can leave the computer on during the night with this marco and it will fire at anything that comes up as shootable so if anyone can give me any kind of marco to help me as a novice rifleman

I don't know.....
I only AFK macro'ed Doctor.
See I was smarter though then other AFK healers. I realized hey if everyone is healing the same tumbler well we will all get XP alot slower so I decided to combine healing and tumbling into a Macro. Here it is:
/HealDamage
/tumbletoStanding
/tumbletoStanding
/tumbletoStanding
/tumbletoStanding
/pause 10 seconds
/macro MedXP
(also with the pause you don't need your mind buffed)
Shoot only took me a Day to get 4-4-4-0 Doc.....
But as far as Rifles go nope I can't help ya there, I ground the old fashoined way for that:

* use this in places that spawn thugs, punks, and such. This is a case sensitive macro so make sure the lower and upper case is like mine. Oh, u can use headshot in place of attack if u want but it drains mind so I just get a good rifle and set my macro and go to bed. Make sure u put this macro in your F1 slot and press it to start, type /dump to end it. Also face your spawn so u only target them. Hope this helps.

macros are cheap 
. Grind right get in a party and go Rancor hunting, once you get Counter-Sniping 2 get a DXR-6b rifle and sit at the top the Geono Cave with a party and grind, you'll level faster that way

Lasers with max 420+ then get them sliced for power hopfully, use Speed power up's until you get all your rifle speed done.
DXR-6b ... Acid Damage.... mmmm

Yes, that macro is perfectly legal by the EULA since its an ingame macro.

Good to see you making the most of the game, Lets just grind rifleman, macro on, walk away from computer. Returns, oh man i'm a master rifleman i'm one 1337 d00d. Awesome.

What CMUBlitz says is only partly true if he is going to reference the EULA. The problem is that, as the poster of the macro indicated, most people use these macros to grind for them while they go to bed or do other AFK things. While the EULA allows for the use of in-game macros, it also requires you to be at the keyboard. It specifically prohibits using macros to play the game for you.
Unfortunately, SOE does not have the courage to enforce this aspect of the EULA, so AFK macro grinding is being allowed.

As most of u know, a macro is only good till u get one box then your exp is 1, so I do play the game, I just use my macro to loot crystals. Most of us play the game which is alot more than I can say for any hologrinder or jedi, the reason jedi loose so much is because they never learned the game, just spent all their time and credits grinding away. Not to mention all the AFK dancers, doctors, musicians, and such, and if your a jedi you have done it, so dont come preaching here my friend.

<- Grinded riflemen atk (at keyboard) when there was a 2.5X melee dmg modifier and killing durnis was dangerous work. Please just play the game. The "grind" can actually be fun if you allow it to be. When I was "grinding" riflemen, I believe I did jabba's theme park, the imp theme park, the rebel theme park, valarian's missions, got my krayt dragon skull, visited most of the POI's before they were marked on your map, and overall just enjoyed the game. Even if you want to level quickly, you aren't going to be able to do it afk because the best xp you can get is going to come from working in groups killing savage quenkers on dantooine or rancors or the like on dathomir.
Ever wish you had grinded jedi so that you could walk up to all those afk meatlump killers and kill them when you get them TEF'd? Man, I've never "griefed" anyone, but those folks deserve it in my opinion.
