Thread: Anyone notice the screenshot of the day?

It's screenshot #318 if you're seeing this late. I mean, it'd be cool if the guy in the pic could actually hit that rancor, but:
- Apparently he "can't see that object" because of the3 footwide (or tall at the moment) fallen tree.
- Despite the scope, he can't hit a target that far away.
Still, it makes me drool at what Master Rifleman COULD be....

From the picture it suggests
- There actually is range for combat in SWG. 64m is not a feature, it is a bug
- Line of sight is pretty much busted, and at the fan fest the devs admitted as much that they simply had to remove it for techical reasons.
- That you can solo high level mobs as a result of not only your equipment but how you choose your ground.
If what is implied in that picture were true SWG would be 10 times the combat game it is.
As it is the screen shot is so far from reality it almost makes me want to cry.

That picture almost looked real too 
I wish and hope that the combat revamp will bring all these things into balance, but i kinda doubt it will.

Yeah I saw that and thought the same thing as you guys. It seemed to me the picture was implying a lot of things that aren't true in the game.

From the same company who showed people running around the CORVETTE with no armor and sticking around for shootouts, I wouldn't put it past yhem.

or the dueling jedi video that had an at-at, and another huge group of people running around without armor.
