I have loved rifles ever since I picked off that first nightspider on Rori witha CDEF rifle 19 months ago. Man, that seems like FOREVER. Never having played an MMORPG, I picked Scout as my starting profession figuring I would explore the galaxy! What a noob I was. But within days I had discovered Marksman, and soon the Chubas, Nightspiders, and Ikopis were running in fear of my awesome fire sticks! LOL. Well, I mastered rifle a couple of months later using only Muon Gold... no armor, no such thing as doc buffs and with the famous 2.5x melee penalty.

With disdain for the hologrind, I entered the Village with no free unlocks. Twenty-one weeks later, two nights ago,I exited the VIllage for hopefully the last time. Six branches filled, and planets and planets of animal corpses in my wake. I swear I don't know why there is ANY wildlife left on Endor! (And how come there are so many Nightsister Slaves and so very few Nightsisters?)

And last night my trusty, rusty T21 killed Mellichae. Put an energy blast right throughhis ugly Zabrak head. Eight more missions and I will be Jedi Initiate. Eightmissions after those and I will wear the robe of the Padawan and will have to sadly put my rifle away. And about that same time, another future rifleman will arrive on Eclipse....

ah I had wondered what had happened to you... grinding took most of your time these last few months.

glad to see that phase 1 of your quest is over - now for the worse grind T_T

it was a very very sad day for me when i finally surrendered the novice rifle box knowing that i would never return to it on my jedi self. enjoy the rifle while you can it is a massive aid in the early days of the jedi grind.

Congrats, WayineinAustin.

I too, will be confronting Mellichae soon, and like Wayne, I have been a Rifleman since day one. I think the hardest thing in the world is going to be surrendering that skill box that says "Master Rifleman". But, at least there is an alt...someone to pass all of my weapons onto.

Good luck with the grind man...watch out for those Bounty Hunters.

I thought I was done with the Village too, so I did my round of /rude to all the NPC's there. But the joke was on me, one of the Paddy Trials requires a return visit to the Village.

They gave me the cold shoulder, lol.
