I am new Jedi Padawan and currently still have my Master Rifle box, so I monitor both forums. People are going nuts on the Jedi forum because the Devs came out and said that if you use the Anti-decay kit on a Lightsaber, all of the pearls and crystals inside are immune to decay. Not only that, if you take out the pearls, then destroy the Sabre, you get your Anti-decay kit back to use again.
I would think those riflemen of you with Uber weapons would be celebrating this news! yet this forum seems awfully quiet (comparitively).

Just a little more I have found out reading the forums...
WENT LIVE TODAY!
Veteran reward..... can be used on weapons (which are a non-insureable item) and on anything that is insureable.
I do NOT know if the same rules apply to rifles as apply to light sabers.
Like I said above, if you use it on a LS, then destroy that LS, you get your anti-decay kit back.
I can only ASSUME this is true for rifles, but i do NOT know for sure.
Edited with the following fantastic news:
In the Jedi Forums, Dev Calandryll wrote:
Also, you can delete the lightsaber and use the anti-decay kit on a new lightsaber as many times as you want. This is true for any item that can be used with an anti-decay kit. So basically, you aren't screwed if you use the anti-decay kit on one item and then two days later get something much cooler that you'd rather use it on. You do have to make the decision to delete the item currently attached to anti-decay kit before using the kit on the new item though.

we figured it was more of a given then anything. We knew it applied to weapons and armor - the only group that had questions about how it worked was the jedi and their sabers (as their sabers required parts that can change with time).
I myself am not picking it - I want a unqiue item that no one else has.

BTW, thats one of the things that drives me nuts in Real Life.. .people whose Emails and Thread Titles give you NO CLUE about what the subject really is. I shouldnt have to open threads and emails to see what the hell they are really talking about. TELL ME IN THE SUBJECT LINE for gawd's sake - thats what its there for! ....okay. rant off. sorry.
