Thread: The pistoleer proffesion has problems to!
That was a response to the first pistoleer report before there were any master pistolers. I use pistols and rifles. Pistoleers have a hell of alot more problems. All the disadvantages of rifleman are easily overcome. How as a pistoleer am I supposed to compensate for the worst DPS master class in the game that has a marskman level pool directed attack? All the methods of increasing your DPS with pistols can be done with any weapon. Pistols don't get the exponential growth of DPS from speed mods due to speed caps.
How can you, a person who knows NOTHING about pistoleers even make an assumption that they are ok? With out disarmingshot2 nerf/commando fix patch, pistoleers have the most bugged and worthless skills/stat mods of any class.
Again, I use both pistols and rifles in the right situations. I know what their advantages and disadvantages are.
Now bounty hunters can dabble in pistoleer to gain some nice stat mods and a special known as stopping shot. The funny thing is, bounty hunters do more DPS with stopping shot than pistoleers do, because of the stacked speed mods. Master pistoleers don't even use stopping shot, the delay multiplier is 4X. However, a bounty hunter with stacked speed mods can still get that capped or well under two seconds. Seriously, stop slamming a class when you are so uninformed about it. Just because you die to a pistoleer doesn't mean you grasp any understanding about how they work or are played. After disarmingshot2 is nerfed, you shouldn't die to a pistoleer. What is he going to do? Spam a random pool damage special or a marksman level health pool attack? How long will that last when you are smacking him in the head for 250-1200 damage? And yes, it is still possible to do a 1200 damage headshot to someone with no BF or wounds and no helmet. There are riflemen on Bloodfin doing it as we speak. If you are a master rifleman, then you can do it every 2 seconds as well.
So tell me, how will a pistoleer compete with a rifleman after the patch?
I just had to respondto pistol versus rifle damage. Disregarding resources and infinite arguments about numbers. Here is Needes current weapon list, items he is selling. (With apologies to Neede!). I think its self explanatory. There are two rifles and two carbines! You stock what people use. People use what works.

We were asked to submit 5 technical issues (broken special action moves, etc.) and 5 things we'd like to see in gameplay. We submitted both.
If you don't think Pistol has some profession problems you're a retard who's never touched a pistol so **edit**.

PsychoticChipmunk, why do you say "we", "us" and "you"? I am a pistoleer and a rifleman. I use both. I can see side by side on the same screen in the same game how they work. Master pistoleers gain barely any DPS as compared to master rifleman. I started doing more DPS with a rifle as a marksman with rifle 3 than I did as a pistoleer with 1/1/1/1. You know how I can tell? Because I use both of them, side by side, one after another, on the same mob types, over and over.
You know who is the most unbiased and informed on an issue with seperate sides? Someone that stands on both sides. I wouldn't want either proffession to get nerfed. So what do you think my agenda is? Possibly, to inform people that do not undestand how something works.
I know the problems that rifleman have, and they are rather easy to overcome. Use your noggin and try thinking of ways to get aroundthem. Sure, I am all for fixing broken specials.Lets saythe ham costs were brought down, the melee damage taken reduced, and rifles made more accurate. What would the disadvantage with rifles be then? A class with out a weakness is overpowered.
I know a lot needs fixing with rifleman, especially when it comes to comparing fighting skillswith Pistoleers. But please remember that Pistoleers have serious issues to!![]()

I hope you will have more simpathy for those with the little guns in the furture! How can you expect them spam knockdown without twirling their gun between shots!
