Thread: Updated top 6 rifleman issues needed to be looked into
Since the T 21 has been "unnerfed" (LOL) what needs to be changed.... imo here is my top 6 list on what needs to be looked into(in no particular order)
1) Suprise shot - This was said to be fixed but I cant get it to work. A normal shot comes out and not anything special. We really should have this fixed, its been long enough.
2) Block - This ability doesnt work and we have who skill tree devoted to it... /sigh
3) Mob warping - With the Rifleman penalty to melee this mob warping really needs to be fixed.
4) Cover - Othen than using conseal shot for PvE this is worthless. There MAY be bonuses but it isnt really noticable and have a whole skill tree devoted to it. It isnt worth the time to use in PvE and more specificly in PvP.
5) Accuracy - Pistoliers even admit that they havethe same or close to sameaccuracy than us at long range, but in close range we are very much disabled. Rifles should have the ultamate accuracy at range and imo there should be a cap ontherange for carbines and pistols so we have a realadvantage. This cap limiting the pistol rangewould really makeup for the riflemanmelee penalty which is SIGNIFICANT compaired to the pistols.
6) No KD when prone - It makes little physical sense to be KDed when you lying flat on the ground. Also makes cover a little less worthless.
This is what i think is important and needs attention so whatare my my fellow rifleman think? If possible can we get a replay by holo or our corrispondent so we know these issues are being looked into =)

I would like to see the "cover slow motion walk bug" and the "sliding after you take prone 20 meters back where you just came from" bug's addressed.

Take cover works just fine. I wouldn't be able to do many of the "destroyimperial camp" faction missions without it.
What we need are different types of shots. Since we're using high powered rifles, we need to get crippling shots, or something to that effect which gives us the chance for a quick kill or the ability to disable a creature so it loses some of it's attack ability.
Take cover is to me the only real difference between us and pistoleers.
The 2.5 damage multiplier is just plain stupid. If you don't have a pistol ready and a mob is in your face and speed run is burned upyou are dead.
The only real advantage we get over pistoleers is we get to use the cannon that is the laser rifle (I don't use one because I make my own guns, I use dlt20 right now), but that is really the only reason to take rifleman instead of pistoleer.
Oh one last thing, please fix the tusken rifle, it looks cool but the slow speed makes it a piece of garbage.
Overall rifle needs a lot of work, especially the disparity between the rifles themselves.
