I understand the great Mind benefits of the spice. I don't understand what 'down time' means. Please help a potential druggie.

Thanks

It's a drug. Just as in RL, you gotta come down from being on it.

LOL I guess I should have been more specific.

I know what 'down time' means. What I want to know is what are the specific effects on the character during the down time.

The first 10 minutes after you take it, you are what I call "God of All Beings". Personally, all my mind stats jump above 1000, and since I'm also a master medic, there's nothing that can stop me without tearing me up super fast. Mind shots are practically free, even with the T21, and recovery time after a battle takes seconds.

Then the 10 minutes goes out.

Now you are what I call "Throwup Maximus". My base mind values are: 850, 600, 600. These shoot up to 1350, 1100, 1100 on muon gold of course. Once I hit the downer though, I hit 350, -350, -350. That's right, negative secondary stat values. This normally lasts 4-5 minutes.

There's also another catch to taking it. I don't know if this isa bug or not (I don't remember this happening around release date) but it seems anytime a drop occurs in a secondary stat, the game has trouble raising it back up on its own. Oddly though, it does manage to at least raise my focus and willpower to 150 after the downer. These aren't wounds, because if you log in/out, they'll be back to normal. What also works is eating or drinking something, so I usually carry around spiced tea(minor buffs tomind)with me for those times when logging in/out isn't a good idea.

Perfect. That's what I wanted to know.

The after effects on the secondaries sound similar to what happens after being revived (at least that's what my friends tell me :smileywink.

Instead of logging in/out, what you do is eat some food. It resets the stats for you.

I have seen the same thing to my secondary stats not coming all the way back up, but not just after eating spices. Just recovering from regular wounds seems to make this happen and not just on mind stats.

Sometimes, I will have zeros in all of my wound categories, no BF and yet my secondary stats report as if they were still down. What's weird is if I eat some food that temporarily raises that stat, it goes up for the food buff and THEN returns to normal.

I thought for sure I read somewhere this was a known issue and fixed in one of the previous releases, however, it's still happening.

Not anything that is really important in comparison to other problems, but..

Weird.

Iodan, I think they fixed this bug in beta, then they introduced it again and have not fixed it again yet.
