Thread: CDEF for close range?

As you may have noticed, CDEF's give you +15 accuracy at point blank range, and has like 17 mind drain or even less.While with a laser rifle you get -50 and an average of 50-80 mind drain.


Maybe you could just craft yourself the best CDEF you can, slap a powerup on it since you don't care how fast it degrades, and you have yourself a good stand-off weapon that you won't miss with at close range.

I just pull out a CDEF pistol soI don't take x2.5 damage.

I'd rather lose 100xp to pistol than die.


CDEF Rifle is great when you're fighting fairly low stuff , but when mobs kill you in 1 or 2 hits I'd go pistol every time.
