I've noticed that in addition to the shot being a random pool, it also sometimes hits a bleed. Don't know if this is a bug or not. Watch your targets stats when you shoot. If you hit a bleed, the argo is instant, run Joe...RUN.

I've seen the bleed for concel shot on another thread, does anyone know if it's a bug or just a random thing?

OK, I am now working my way up the concealment tree of Rifleman. A lot of Rifleman told me Conceal shot was pretty good... etc.

I am on Dantooine shooting at a Junta (sp?) with conceal shot while prone. I hit him 2 times and he starts moving towards me. I figure no big deal, he is just walked around wondering **edit** hit me. Next thing I know he is on top of me and I take 2 hits and die (and I do mean dead).

This has never been my experience when hitting Imp NPCs. Why suddenly do I hit a different kind of NPC and it doesn't work?

Something else interesting... I hit a Quenker with Mindshot 1 and 2 and ran into my house when he charges me. As soon as it disengaged me, it was healed. This happened a few times when I would run out of my house. The Quenker would get hit by the mind bleed, charge me, disengage combat when I ran into my house, and mind would be healed.

FYI, no, I didn't miss. Also, I was just messing around because I was bored. Typically, I would kill the thing.

I've used concealshot extensively in the past couple of weeks and never seen it bleed.

Hmm, I don't do that. I use concel shot with a macro I have made (from reading post). If I'm undercover, I can't peace. I peace between each shot (so I can /aim each time). I use a macro that puts me prone, /aim, call a ui action slot (which is where my concel shot is now, use to primairly use HS2 there), /peace, /stand (just incase I need to move or run).

I don't see a bleed from concel shot very often at all. Got concel little over a week ago, seen it bleed maybe three times. Come to think of it, it was always on the same type of mob, storm troopers from level 39 rebel missions. I am currenlty on Dant (was on Yavin) hunting reds (great xp) and have never seen a bleed since my last reb mission. Don't know if that really means anything, but thats my expirence.

Now, you said take cover first, may I ask why? What would be the benifit?

the regular rules of monsters coming after you still apply.

if your within its range for "seeing" you then it will come after you when conceal shotting agressives and NPC that normally attack without provocation make sure you are at least 55+ meters away to be safe. anything under that and they are liekly to come after you regardless of what shot your using. rancors can stalk you from up to 50 meters.
