Before i spendmy hard earned money. Any one with any experience with lazer rifle of this type. I want my pre-nerf T21 back...waaaaaaaa

I have a Krayt Laser. It is 430 Max Damage. If I were to get it sliced for damage then it would be worthwhile. Otherwise if it gets speed then it is really no better than a Damage Sliced Normal Laser Rifle.

I had one made with +30 tissue. This means that whatever the stats on the gun would have been the base max damage is now +30 more. So, this means that if you get a 20% damage slice your damage from base without tissue will be 36 more than it would have been. now, add a 33% damage power up and you get an increase of 47.88 over what the same slice and power up would have given you on a non tissue gun. Now, when shooting with a shot that gives a 4x multiplier this means your gun will deal out 191.52 points of damage over what the same gun with the same slice and power up without krayt tissue would have offered.

Hehe, now, in pvp lets say you can get off 4 shots before you or him dies. Then this gun will inflict 766.08 points of damage more than what the gun would have done without tissue. With the 75% reduction that would = 191.52 points of actual damage. This could make the difference in whether you die or him.

Now, of course this is if you get perfect rolls on all 4 shots, this is only good for an example of sorts.

But, all that to say, yes, it is a good thing to do. you will drop creatures faster and players as well.

I'd say it's very worth it. Not like money is worth much in this game, and I love my krayt laser a bunch; I got it speed sliced, and I cap Strafe2 now even though I don't have Master Marksman.

Since nothing really good can be made with one tissue anymore (save for BH and Commando special guns), you'll actually get a gun from a weaponsmith if you provide the tissues, instead of having them stolen and watching Krayt FWGs turn up on their vendor.
