What's the difference between these two? Their descriptions aren't clear, and I both of them seem to do the same thing when used... is Warning shot better? Someone help me out, please.

Threaten Shot generally discourages an animal target from charging you. Usually the target will cut sideways, hem and haw for a few seconds then charge again. Good for group play when you have no tank.

Warning Shot will send the critter running straight away from you and keep it running for a longer period of time. Use it when you want to see the critter gone for good. this is the more powerful of the two shots.

I remember fondly the first time I tried to solo a peko peko. I figured I would hit it with headshot twice then warning shot it away. Peko was gone before i could even stand up to chase it. I was like, "No Mr. Peekers, noooooooooooooooo............!!!"

it seems warning shot is also geared to how good you are with your weapon. when i was about half done with rifles i could warning shot a rancor about 1 in 6 shots. now that i am master it is close to every other shot. i havent tried threaten shot but i will now that you bring it up. i think with the new sniping skill warning shot and threaten shot may be one of the more useful skills to have to compliment rifles.
