I use the jawa, cause the ham cost is much less than the t21. The damage is compatable to the t21 in pvp so the ham cost can be a life saver.

well that depends on what type of composite..

i personally wear a 89% resist helm, but with stun vuln..

most others wear 51-54% composite..

big difference

Well, it depends on what you're going to do. If you are a bleeder, then use the t21, if you spam specials, use the jawa.

I like to bleed people, so I carry around an spare t21 with 596 dmg (that's with a powerup) and I've hit people with mind 1 and mind 2 for 800 bleed damage before. That's pretty nice cuz if they aren't doing the same thing to you, have some mind buffs or muon, they go down pretty quick and don't get back up. But this is mainly because I normally only do PvP when I go on raids or protectagainst raids, so I know people will be unarmored, armored with no helm, or armored. So bleeds work well as a general damage type. Plus, if you hit everyone with mind bleeds, it really takes the doctors out of the game because they are either trying to heal the bleeds or unable to heal people once they get incap'd. Also, I generally only hit people with bleeds and switch targets, so I don't do a lot of attack and db's unless we're moving quickly in a raid or it's more of a 1 on 1 situation. In those cases, if I see comp armor, I pull out my jawa, otherwise I stick with the t21.

If you spam specials, generally the jawa is going to work better for you because of the vulnerabilities and ham and you'll do more damage over time and more overall damage (cuz you won't run out of mind as quickly) than with a powerful t21. That is unless they have really crappy comp, but we'll leave that out of the equation.

Basically, do what's best for your pvp style.

I dueled a guy with a 80% composite. He was buffed so i went for mind. With my t21 i only made about 300 damage and i lost with my java i owned him although he drunk a fishshack and had 1700 mind. Do i have to say more?

While we all know numbers don't always give you the "real" feel.. Here's an idea.

With a good T-21, and let's say strafeshot2 you should be easily able to hit for 4k dmg so let's start there.

So let's factor in armor.. (4000*1.25)*1.25 = 6250 is where you should be hitting now let's say they've got good armor.. Not the best, just good with 50% resists.. 6250*.5 = 3125... PvP reduction.. 3125*.25=781

So total hit is 781

Now I have a very good Jawa Ion 520ish I believe with a power up.. So let's take that 4k hit again.

No armor bonus or reduction... so just the PvP reduction.. 4000*.25 = 1000

So total hit with a Jawa Ion... 1000

The difference is even greater if someone has very good composite helm.. 50+ resists. But you also have to figure in game bugs (armor doesn't stop the shot at all), and other things like could be wearing a PSG, (Do ashot with a T-21 on someone's who's got a 47% PSG and a 53% helm, not a lot getting through) HAM costs, and the situation and you'll be able to figure out what's going to work best.

why worry about high HAM cost when theres tons of **edit** you can do to either Add More Mind or add More Focus/Willpower.

Has anyone tested which works better. I know that most composite is vulnerable to stun but the T21 is heavy armor piercing. I was doing some tests tonite but they were inconclusive, has anyone tested this and what were your results. Thx

T21-will do more dmg but willl somtimes be absorbed by the armor the heavy armor rating means nothing since Composite only has light armor rating

Jawa- will never be absorbed by the armor since the armor has 0% protection against stun dmg but jawa ion rifles dont do as much dmg as a "good" t21

just my 2 cents
