Thread: flushing shot??
Currently Master CH and novice rifleman...
Flushing shot 2 is an area attack thatdizzies your target so they might fall down if they change posture. Most applicable for NPCs and PCs.

Anyway, the most important thing is the area attack, and it's a 4x dmg mod... The "fastest" grind would be get Counter-Sniping 4, and as you've said you have pets, this will be your best method. Send your pets at the lair, wait for the 2nd group to spawn, then with you targeting the nest use Flushing shot2 until clear. (might need some mind buffs to help).
I do this and can clear a Voritior lair in about 3-5 minutes. You'll need a heavy pet or two to tank while you do this, but it works wonders.
Sorry, Baaric, but you are confusing Flushingshot and Flurryshot. Flurryshot is the one that dizzies the target. He is asking about Flushingshot.
Flushingshot has two effects. Flushingshot has a chance to stun and to raise the posture of the target. Stun delays the target one combat round and lowers their defenses. Raising the posture means that if they are prone, they will kneel and if they are kneeling, they will stand.
Flushingshot1 is a single target shot that does 2x the base damage. Flushingshot2 is area effect (multiple targets)and does4x the basedamage.
And no, either Flushingshot can be used with Flurryshot1 or 2 that Baaric mentioned to create a chance to knockdown (dizzy + posture change can create a knockdown). Flushingshot2, however, is the second best damage shot we have at 4x the base damage.
Could have sworn there was something to singlepull mobs from packs/lairs
are you looking for concealshot?
it is used to attack a single mob without it attacking back or it's friends.
We do not currently have a shot that is specifically designed to single pull a target. There is talk of adding something like that, but the fear is that they are going to use that as an excuse to get rid of Concealshot. Concealshot will allow you toonly have to deal with a singletarget in that it does not trigger an autoresponse attack from the target when you hit it. If it does not respond, then, by the current creature responserules, neither can it's friends, but it does not pull the creature. The creature becomes slightly more active, but it is otherwise unaware that it is being hit; thus, you only have to deal with one creature at a time.
Mindshot1 or 2 may accomplish the single pullas indicated in an above post. But I believe you would have to do this carefully. Mindshot is a bleed. The initial hit from the bleed will not get a reaction (if you are previously undetected). But 20 seconds after the initial hit, the bleed will take effect and, at that point, the creature will aggro on you. If you are within detection range of the creature's friends, they should aggro on you as well, but it may be that you can use that time to get out of detection range of the friends and, thus, only have the one creature aggro on you. But it is a bleed (damage over time) shot andnot specificallydesigned as a single pull skill. I have not tried it, but it could logically work, and the previous post indicates that it does. Also, Mindshot1 and Mindshot2 will stack, so if you do this, use them both, but realize that that will mean you will have to hurry a bit more to get out of range because of the extra time you took to get the second shot off.
The bleed shot/single pull method described above does work.
Bleed the Target, then peace. Move away so that the friends are not within 64m. Wait until the bleed takes effect ant the MOB comes a runnin.
