If you mindshot a creature 2 times the DOT will still be on the first timer but will have second dot's damage. This can be annoying or helpful but when you just want to extend the DOT you can't because it will keep the first timer.

Fix:For everymindshot the timer on the monster resets

Problem: I don't know how this effects Action or health shot. There could be new issues with mind shot and action shot on the same creature then.

I didn't know that a second Mindshot keeps the original time but adds the new damage . Interesting info that I will save for future reference ...

As far as I know , back in Beta you could any number of DOT's on a single MOB and it worked just fine . I had Health , Action and Mind DOT's going on a few MOBs just for @#$$@# and giggles in Beta and there were no restrictions there . I think it's still the same but I'm not 100% .

No what I am saying if they take the shortcut way of fixing it and make so on each Mindshot it resets the timer That means it could delay an Action shot if it is on the same target. I am going out with someone today to see if I shoot with mindshot and a friend does another type of bleeding shot if they are on the exact same timer even if shot at different times.

ie.
Rifleman shoots Storm1 with Mindshot2 for 400 damage
Carbineer shoots Storm1 with Actionshot 2 for 388
Rifleman knows he can get more damage so he shoots Mindshot2 again Currently if he shoots it before the first bleed the new damage will apply on the first Mindshots Timer. If they fix this that could mean the Action shot gets delayed with the Second Mindshot. I am going to test this once my server gets up and report back here.

Here is a bump and the official state of this "bug"

Ok all types of bleeding shots(Action, Health, Mind)are on their own timers. However if you shoot with a Bleeding type shot 2 times it will take the damage of the second one but continue using the timer of the first one. The timers are not reset. Plain and simple.
