Thread: QUUESTION ABOUT COVER / TAKING COVER SEA's...

I have two types of attachments...some say Cover + X...and some say Taking Cover +X. Can anyone tell me the difference and also how much extra on top of the +80 Cover we have at master is effective? Thanks guys

i believe skills cap at around +100-+125. As far as the differences between the two.......Take Cover is the act of moving into the covered state, whereas Cover refers to how well the state works. When you first "take cover", you run the chance of failing. I know from experience that takeing cover does'nt always work. When i was jumped by some valarians once (they don't like me), I hit the take cover button on my task bar.....I was then given the message that I had failed to take cover. Once you do achieve the covered state, I believe the "cover" attachment will determine your "cover" effectiveness. I can only surmise from my experience, but I believe this to be the answer to your question. Good hunting

Wow, thanks for asking this question- I never even noticed there were two different types of tapes for this!
As stated, the 'taking cover' ones shouldincrease your success rate when trying to go into a covered state and the 'cover' ones should improve the quality of your cover once you get there. These would be really great to have if they could only make us want to take cover.
