Thread: Can you trade or tip across galaxies?

I have a Bounty Hunter on Kettemore and i really don't use him much any more (Got bored). I made a new character on Ecipse not too long ago. Fencer/Riflemen.
Anyways, my BH has an awsome pre-nerf T-21 rifle in his invetory that my new character would die for.
Can he get it?
If he can't, my BH is also very rich ... he could stand to give my new character some credits....
Can he give them?

I dont think you can make any kind of trades between servers (items or credits). Not 100% sure about this, but I would think it would be silly if one could directly transfer credits from one server to another since the individual server's economy (prices of items and such) varies very much.
BUT - maybe there is a person out there with the excact same problem as you just with the opposite servers. You could do a trade with such a person - with credits anyways. Just a thought...

No, all you can really do atm is send tells to people on other servers...

no you can not do any of the two but from what i hear dont know if it is true or not so dont hold me up to this ......
from what i hear they are going to make it where you can take your character between servers in a future publish not sure if thats true or not but anything is possible.....
i really dont think it will because...... there would be people jumping servers 24:7 and would be too hard to keep up with any one and it would in the long run piss people off rather then help them
so till then you are screwed

No You Can trade or tip between galaxies at all
They are implementing a cross server character transfer BUT it has already been stated ONLY ONLY ONLY your character and his skills will be transfered, NO MONEY, NO INVENTORY, NO HOUSES ETC ETC, nothing other than skills and character.
Basically if you were a tka/brawler, and you perform a transfer, you will start off on whatever planet with a melon, cdef pistol, clothes and a survival knife, thats it. BUT all your skills would be there.

I wouldn't be surprised if they make you pay real money for a transfer, like they do in EQ.

This is what you can do, I've seen it done before and have done it myself. Sell your T21 and get the cash for it, then find someone on the server you want to go to who wants to go to your server. You can usually advertise on the forums of the involvedservers. This takes a bit of trust and some people have been scammed without compinsation as SWG doesn't insure that kind of thing. Just do the credit swap and take the money you have from selling your original T21 and by a similiar one on your new server.

you can trade someone on your BH's galaxy for creds on eclipse.. but you never know if its just a scam lol
