I pose this question simply because after reading much of the skills that are effective pairings i am now not sure which direction to turn. I definitely want to complete the rifleman tree, but to complement it I chose to also be a medic. that said i still have points because i went right up the rifleman branch of marksman into the Rifleman elite. so my question I guess is this. Does getting master marksman buy me anything else really? Or am I better off dumping pistol and not doing the carbine thing to take up one of the melee skills like TKA or swords???? Personally i would rather take up the melee skills since i have already done that
, but if that hurts my rifle skill in the long run because i am not master marksman than maybe i will just keep pistols and finish carbine.

Take up two handed swords. You get mind hits and the point cost (for brawler and two levels) is actually less than filling up the rest of your Marksman tree. Plus, not only can you focus on one pool, but you're able to deal with things at long range and close range. Good deal.

Hi. I am currently going up the rifleman tree and want to ask a question. I am master marksman and am having to drop other skills to get rifleman. Does being a rifleman get any benefit from being a master marksman that is worth me staying as a master marksman also.
Thanks in advance.

The +5 to rifle speed in master marksman, sounds like it is useless. But as a master rifle, master marks, you get Rifle Speed of 95+, the cap is around 97, 98 for those that like to disagree, but 97 works. As just Master Rifle, you get a speed of 90+. That means you would need a couple of tapes to get up to 97 as Master Rifle, but as the combo you could pull it off with two +1 tapes or one +2 tape.....
