Thread: No Rifles beyond t21
How come?? Are they planning to add something or is this rifle so Uber that I won't need anything else.
These schematics are just the ones you get from the raw profession... the REAL good stuff will be found through missions and exploration.

I remember reading something about special schematics, they would be quest Items as well as loot on occasion. With each expansion that is issued I think we can hope to see new weapons, armour types, and all sorts of new goodies to play with.

It's sad to see that our correspondent is so closed minded about this issue. Diversity of weapons is a good thing. It allows you to create a character that is unlike other riflemen, it would allow for more strategic elements to be added to combat, it could help boost the terribly boring path to weaponsmith. Right now the T21 is hands down the best weapon in the game and so soon every rifleman will get one. There will be a little variation of the stats based on which weaponsmith makes it but for the most part we'll all have the same weapon and combat style (a style that maximizes the T21). Instead of one uber-rifle there should be an upper class of rifles with similar dps (damage per second) but with different ways to get the damage. Then on top of these weapons should be a class of elite rifles that decay rapidly, or require ammo or something to restrict the ownership to those players that can afford to use them.
As our correspondent you need to have some vision for how the game can be made better instead of explaining why SWG, in it's current state, is adequate.
