I have no idea how to get an attachment on a backpack.. Everytime I drag an AA or CA over it, it is just put inside the backpack.

They don't decay and you can buy them with sockets.
Backpacks are bugged

Backpacks are bugged because they're not supposed to have sockets (at least thats what the Tailors tell me)

Warning: A good idea for your AA that MAY JUST BE A FIGMENT OF MY IMAGINATION:
If you wear composite armor, consider putting it on your LEFT BICEP. Here is why I say that....
I mastered rifleman without armor "back in the day". When I finally got my first set of armor, it was a very nice set with high base, etc. Now I used that set for a long time and repaired the pieces as they needed it. I finally decided to get a new set, buttook a close look at the condition of all the pieces on my used set and noticed my Left Bicep had much more condition left on it than any of the other pieces.
Now, this could be pure dumb coincidence, or it could be that the biceps just tend to get hit less. Butat any rate, if you have to pick a piece of composite to attach your AA to for long life, you might want to try this.
Or feel free to LYAO at this idea... just my experience.

Unfortunately, there are no clothing items that you can wear that do not decay, only armor - e.g. ubese and mabari shirts, belts, and bandoliers. I personally put my rifle speed CA's in bio engineered shirts. The shirts decay, but you can repairthem and it's nice to get the extra mods from the shirts. Try to get at least +18 stun defense, +4 melee defense and 4 sockets on the shirt and then fill them up and go to town...insured of course.
Good luck.

Yes. I think I've repaired one particular shirt 5 times so far, keeping my fingers crossed that the luck will hold out.

I have clothing attchment for +4 rifle speed, but was hoping to find something that would prevent me from loosing it due to decay..
I heard there are belts out there that can be used, but do the accept armor or clothing attachments? Same question for the Ubese Armor Shirts, can you put clothing attachments in those?
Thanks..

Ubese armor shirts and Mabari belts currently do not decay(they are fixing that soon enough), so that is your choice for AAs. CAs can only be put into things that do decay, so pick something you like and just do your best to be careful with it. Always make sure you have the item insured and go buy yourself some clothing repair kits for when it gets really low condition. That's all the help I can give you
