Nothing really, I was atthe Bazaar on tatooine, and this Buffed Trandoshen TKM was going around to all the newbs and asking if they wanted to duel. The proceeded to humiliate them. then he asked me, an armored unbuffed Wookiee carrying around his t-21.

TKM: What do duel?
Me: Can I start at 65meters kneeling?
TKM: No
ME: LOL
-pause-
TKM: Okay how about 35m?
ME: 65 or nothing, besides, i dont trust you since you are deathblowing the newbs
TKM: It was an accident
ME: Sorry, no deal
TKM CHicken
ME: LOL

That is the problem with most duels, they start at unarmed range. Why cant people duel out at 65m?

I try and stay away from TKM as much as possible. The last couple encounters always end up being dizzy/knockdown.

punch, punch, punch...

The one time i did actually manage to mind incap them they recovered with full mind before i could even get off a sniper shot

There is a food that is a dueling rifleman's best friend. It gives the person who just devoured it a +80-100 vs. KD. I always munch on this before going into PvP. For the life of me, I can't remember what it is called.

I love it though, you ask them to fight at your ideal range and they just won't. You disagree to fight at their ideal range and they call you a coward. Only possible way to win a fight with a TK starting at less then 30/40 meters is to burstrun away and not get lunged.

I try to give them a dose of there own medicine and do my own KD/dizzy before I commence to giveing them a very nasty headache. Besides, if you are wearing 80% kinetic with a buff you will actually heal while laying on the ground unless they switch to a different fighting style.

This is just another stupid tkm probably trying to increase his PvP rating. I wouldn't even bother talking to these ppl.

lol, yeah most tkm's have a strange sense of "honor". I was once accused of being cheap because I started shooting an overt rebel from 60m away. She said "You shot me from 60m away, thats not fair!". Now that was funny.

With tka it is all about how you use it. A lot of tka simply master it and think they are unbeatable, even thougfh they do not know how to use it properly. I like to think that i know how to use tka quite well, i would happily duel a rifleman at range. And if properly prepared i would like to think i would have a good chance of winning. In fact just the other week unbuffed, using only brandy, canape and muon, i beat a guild rifleman/smuggler who had full buffs including dancer/musician and brandy/canape/thaktillo. I did not win by dizzy/kd.

This is true, the DXR-6b is one of our most accurate weapons, as opposed to the jawa which is the least accurate. Then it comes down to damage types. Anyone who is even thinking about puting up a good fight against a rifleman has a 40% stun comp(they're more common then you think) and a 50%+ stun PSG. That takes away the jawa's only appeal....armors vulnerablity to it.

Then you take the T21, extrememly powerful and AP3. However, the AP bonus doesn't apply in PvP for some reason so it's as good as an AP1 weapon. Then you have armor resistance which is 85-90% base for anything worth buying, and that again PSG which has around 30% energy to it. Which brings down the T21's advantage...raw power.

Now lets come back to the Disruptor, well crafted. It is as powerful, if not more powerful then a T21 (mine are around 650 max). Even though it is only AP2, the bonus doesn't apply in PvP and it fall under the 85-90% base of comp so it's still on par with the T21. But here is wear it starts to shine, PSG's are vulnerable to acid, making it more powerful then a T21, and it's accuracy means you hit more often too.

Now, you will still find most riflemen, including myself, still open up with a jawa to see if the armor is vulnerable, but are quick to switch when we aren't doing anything.
