Thread: How do you make elders walk instead of run?

I've hunted a lot of elders and it seems that sometimes they will stop running and start walking. Sometimes they do it when they still have 90% life left, sometimes at the half-way marker, so I know there has to be some way to trigger them to start walking. I do use the mind shot to bleed them just for the heck of it so I thought maybe that has something to do with it. Sometimes it occurs when they turn away (when i'm almost out of range) and I attack them again they'll walk instead of run.
Anyone have any techniques to get them walking?

Get an elder behind you
get on your swoop
drive away,make sure thery can still cahse you
they will become tired...

Yes...
Elders have little terrain negotiation. They crawl up hills. I've done it many times.
