This can be a very, very useful tactic for not only BHing but pvp. The pve not so much, after first conceal shot npcs run towards you and break conceal. But for pvp you can ambush/stalk out starport, for BHing all you have to do is track a mark to where he is heading, make an educated guess at what terminal he is going to use, mission travel etc etc, plant a bomb droid then open up with conceal shot then sniper shot then KD and crit shot.

Not True! I have killed a few Silver Cheveron Mobs with Cover and Conceal strictly! Basically I go prone/cover at about 75m and crawl to 65, start blasting and a lot of the times they never come. It is awesome from my perspective. Also, I have had many that will go half way down on their HAM before they even react. It is all a matter of sneaking up IMHO! Check it out

The only time I have every got tons of conceal shots was against mobs. Highest count. 20 conceal shots against a juvie krayt.

Hey Guys,

I'm new to the Master Rifleman profession and I've been trying to use my Improved Conceal Shot, but everytime I try I get the error message: "wrong posture." I've tried ICS prone (covered and uncovered), kneeling and standing -- none of them work.

Am I doing something wrong? Is the skill bugged?

Any help anyone could offer would be great.

I would guestimate that I have about 20 kills this way now and I JUST got 4444bh and MBH so it isn't a matter of level. I have had MR for a little while now though. Note that I have not tried this on a Gold Chevron NPC yet though. I'll keep you guys posted.

But it would be hard to be concealed when you stand up.

That would be like a sniper wearing a ghillie suit standing up and firing. I think I would notice a bush about 6 feet high firing at me and I sure couldn't walk around and not draw attention to myself unless my target was a member of Monty Python's Flying Circus.
