Starsider finally got the Carbonate Ore needed for T21s, so now Aldeon, myself, and all us other whiny Starsiders will finally shut up about not getting one.



I'm just happy I've hoarded over a million creds.

I actually like it better then the Laser Rifle, alot better. Instead of 50, 150, 800, 600, 45.


Its 800, 900, 850, 400, 700, 800, 900. I get alot of consistant 800-900 shots now. I like that

Man...I honestly don't mean to ruffle any feathers here...But it seems like 90% of people who play this game, still look at only one stat when choosing a weapon. Max damage. That is why I craft the majority of my weapons for that. But I honestly love customizing and selling the correct gun to an intelligent combat player. We haven't had the rainbow gems on ahazi for these rifles. Chomping at the bit though. This is way better than a laser rifle you clones. Much more consistent damage, and as posted before AR3!!!! Don't any combat people know this stuff??!!??

For masters with a 2 shot fire speed, using strafe shot 2 will get you consistent damage (mathematically, Bria doesn't have em either), but your mind will be gone in less than 10 seconds.


Do we see yet how that sucks?

i have my t21 prepatched set up to do 455 max dmg at 8.2 spd..now i got it sliced with extended damage range and i have found that I do a hell of alot more dmg with it now than before it was sliced or compared to other prepatchT21s....i'm pretty much a novice rifleman doin 1600dmg on mindshot2 and 3000 dmg with headshot2..not to bad the dot is the one that really helps.....wish they fixed it so ya would get exp for killin a mob with it................................:-(

Yeah I got my new T21 on Shadowfire from Arsenal, master gunsmith.


I'm not very happy about this thing at all.

Rate 7.3 (sliced to 5.9 though at times I swear it shoots like my spraystick, damage wise too)


Wound 27%


Ham 97 mind.


This is like everything else she had and she has put some very good weapons out, seen another from Thela something another master, he has T21's comparable to that. Only seen one that wasa little better but it was like 10 more damage for .6 slower. Nor worth the extra 25k at all.


I average 600 a shot and have seen some rounds only do 138 on a freaking Chuba, it's yet to do more then 1500 on HS2. My laser rifle was getting well over 2k at times against creatures on Datoonie with HS1. Though not sure if that was due to my traps or what. Only reason I still us it is due to the fact the lesser end of the damage is not as low as the laser rifle. It's a much more consistant weapon.


Thankfully I'm a wookie that can take the massive mind HAM.


They really need to fix this rifle. It's a light artillery piece for crying out loud it should be comparable to the 3k hits the Commandos do. Yes seen it done and consistantly, they aren't even master either. Flame single 2 is nasty. So why exactly can't we do damage like that with a rifle hitting people to the head with no resistancewhile usinga special that is suppose to at least double our damage?


They really need to fix all our issues or we will be bantha food.

Why do you think people like me are so anxious just to be able to get their hands on one?


I know what the T21 is capable of, I know the minimum damage is higher than a laser, and when AP is working, you get an extra 25% damage. And despite its faults, I can tell it will be a great weapon once we get the alantium ore. I mean, I and many peoplestill useDLT20a's because of it's consistent damage output!


From what I can read since I have yet to experience one and will probably use it blindly when I do....the real problem with the (new) T21 stems from the modified damage (less), modified speed (lower) and the unmodified HAM costs, meaning the damage/second/ham is worse than before, making it less worth shooting.


This is like Headshot 3 that has such a small increase in damage relative to the increase in ham costs.


The Laser rifle is not a good weapon, IMHO, but it's the most damaging one I have and will remain so until I can get our fabled gun - with whatever stats it posesses.

Did you guys see the patch notes "in testing". They talk about changing the T21 AP value to heavy...What the h e l l? does that mean that the discription in the gun, which is currently set to heavy,didnt actually do anything? Or is that note an old note from the previous patch that just got copied into this one? What are those enhancements SOE is talking about to the T21?



Last night i got shot in pvp by a guy with a T21 for over 600 twice in a row with no special move...He said he used some special move but the combat spam didnt show what it was. He must have a prepatch T21 with awsome stats...i think i've hit that much only a few times in my live...

You are right about the HS3 comparison with the T21. I have one pre-nerf and two post-nerf T21s and I mainly only use them for Mindshots before switching (usually to a DLT20A). Even with Muon Gold if I start spamming Headshots and other specials my mind sinks too low. Hope you get them on your server soon so you can make your own judgements.


General question to the Gods:
Why, as an almost master rifleman, should I have to depend basically on a rifle (DLT20a) that I used when I was novice marksman? Yes, I know it is AR0, but I also know HAM costs with a Laser. I prefer moving and shooting with a weak, fast rifle than sitting on my arse healing after using a strong one.
