I like group pve the most so...However, all that melee defense I am not worried about cause you arent getting near a wookie scout!

This is for PvP not uber in any means but lets me be uber because I have soo many choices in what wepon to use. Im Pvp you must adjust to you opponet in real time. If you looking to spam 1 attack then dont PvP cuz it doesnt work that way. The abilty to adapt to your opponet in real time is key and not to panic. I always start off with Jawa/stun and use flurry to stun until it sticks (to lower their defenses) then goto mind bleed then HeadShot 3 (all rifle so far) then I look at what stat pool on them is dropping fastest-a couple of advandced strafes2's answer that question) once again..all rifle so far.
Other guy might be spamming specials on you (watch combat log in real time to tell) and hurting his OWN pool(s) for you! If thats the case then...
Depending what is droping on them and if i determine they have stun armor on i do this...
1. Health pool their weak spot then i whip out Gen Pistol (Fan shot) stun damage/with both health bleeds)
2.Action pool their weak spot then i whip out Elite carbine (not most damage but tightest range of damage so their ranged damged mitigation has less of an effect on my damage output to them) and stack bleeds first -which also throws a posture change down chance on them-and then go for Full auto Area AND single for states and 2-3 chargeshot just in case he's weak in KD defense. If i cant KD in 2-3 shots, I'll forget about it and move onto cripple/Full auto Single.
3.Mind their weak spot then i stick with rifle (Jawa for now) or if i determine theres theres no stun armor(helm on them) then i whip out my Tenloss 6b rifle or even my best SPEED sliced T-21 with mind/range powerup and advanced strafe 2 for the ULTIMATE damage allround and Master headshot...especially if people are watching. Whipping out the T-21 in PvP at point blank range just looks kewl.
Now as you can tell by my Sig im all ranged and no melee....this is my weakness. Chances are im fighting a melee profession. I DO NOT KITE ! Acurracy drops substantially while moving. i try to keep 20m away but if my opponet is obviously a TK/Fence/sword and he is determined to get in range..I let him...why....because
1. he is more comfortable up close therfore letting down his guard !
2. now i am at pointblank range and even with rifle at master level at PB range I rarely miss...so let him come up to me.
3. I am aware of the master PvP'ers on my server and if your not one of them..chances are your spamming your 'best shot at me' eating away at his own pool (that im targeting of course)
I do loose and alot..and that is because I take on everybody...and as an OVERT Reb on my server im am ALWAYS outnumberd..in which case im gonan loose anyway...but I fight..all the time and its fun to loose cuz its good for roleplay and if I only faught when I'd KNOW I'd win well..that would get boring. Might as well challenge Novice Armorsmiths waiting for a shuttle ya know what I mean?
But if its 1 vs. 1, It's on my brother !
My only concern is a Master Fencer with his Acklay Stun Baton in which case im pretty much toast most of the time cuz he can out do me in stun damage because of speed.
HOW I GET READY FOR BATTLE (PvP of course)
Full buffs from only the best Doctors (2200-2500 EXTRA per buff at least because they have their droid out/max clothing on and I wil leven provide med enhancemet food for them) the list of these Doctors on my friends list is small and if theyre not online..guess what...no serious PvPing that day..o well..that runs about 8-10k for those buffs on my server.

Uber PvP template. Massive defensive bonuses (+70 KD Def) and Melee mitigation 2. The ultimate Rifleman PvP char. Though the Combat Medic sounds really cool as well.
Here's what I'm doing:

This gives me Master Rifleman, the ability to cure poison, disease and extinguish fire, big heals, the ability to buff myself, and Unarmed KD 1 (can Dizzy with Flurryshot).
my current template, and i am very happy with it. its very good for both PvE and PvP, but not godly in either i still get defeated. very well rounded out, flexible, i can function as dmg dealer or tank when in groups.
with the ranged support 4 i get max aim (stack it for +90 accuracy) and also supression fire + flurryso i can effectively KD NPCs and unprepaired peopel in PvP at max range, as the ones that are prepaired usually resist supression 1.
the TKA gives me some extra state defenses and a little bit more dodge, but most importantly it gives me Combat Equilibrium which is optimized for PvP. if i wanted to optimize for PvE i would simply switch the TKA to have 3000 for meditation instead of combat equilibrium.
the medic lets me use nice stim Bs and 1st aid so i can heal bleeds while engaged in combat.
the master fencer and master rifleman are self explanatory.
