I got a funny story for you all. I was in the imp base, in the wee hours of the morning and I notice some overt imps had walked in. they systematically killed everyone in there but didn't attack me till last. I noticed them just in time but the moun gold had just worn off as they started their attack. Lucky me only one of the three came at me cause the other two were DBing My comrads upstairs. he charges down, fully buffed and in a full suite of composit.... and a TINY little mind pool (500). SO as I am puking I take a mind shot followed by a headshot 3 and then I feign death cause my mind was used up. While I am down he thinks my mind pool emptied(it was that low) and begins to walk over to me, I stand up with the few points I gained from the nap, and hit him with one last headshot incapping him. I run outside the other two take notice but they are busy DBing someone on the second level, however the see me run out and follow. when i get outside the Moun gold finished it's negative effects so I downed more. I walk downstairs I headshot 3 the guy in back till he is down, his friend goes to heal him, not realising it was mind damage, and while he does, I headshot 3 him till he is down. I take my take DB each of them and continue. about 25 minutes later I get a tell, your the rebel that killed me right? Let me geuss, your a Jedi?

I thought you'd like that story guys take care, and use your Powers Wisely!

"about 25 minutes later I get a tell, your the rebel that killed me right? Let me geuss, your a Jedi?"

LOL, really great !
But to be honest, by the time i think i AM a jedi, because ....
everytime i concealshot a mob i raise my left hand and keep saying "i am not the guy that shoots at you, you even dont get shot by anyone" - if the mob comes nearer i change to tell him "i am not the guy you're looking for" - most of the time my jedi-powers will convince the mob and it will drop to the ground dying because of my powers ..... errrrmmmm... or was ist my T21 ?

WolvenKind, I love that story, that was excellent use of your skills and abilities. You used your head well and managed to survive where many would have died, excellent.

PVP tips huh. Firstly, if you are a novice rifleman, don't PVP fullstop. Anything but master and you will get owned. At master level however, you are deadly

Before engaging your target take a gander at his HAM, this will decide how you are going to drop your foe.

If he has a small mind pool use Master Headshot.

If he has a small health pool then strafe2 is your best friend.

Whoever voted against Strafe2 in PVP, please refer to the following screenshots.

(Using a T21 shooting at 693 max damage)

Shuttlecampers. I spawned in Moenia, went overt and shuttled into Theed via Shuttle B. Ran to shuttle C with my TKM friend, popped a muon gold then proceeded to destroy. The five campers all died at my hands as well as their pets and their mounts.

An insanely powerful combo is Master Sharpshooter / TKM. I never lost a duel like this

You will outmatch anyone at long range and almost anyone at short range.

Ive sinced dropped TKA to persue my FSS though.

Having master marksman helps too. With a skill tape i have my riflespeed up to 101

Typically fighting in armour isn't practical - Due to the insane mind whoring nature of most rifles you need every secondary point you can muster.

Muon gold is your friend. Used with Ryshcate or Breath of heaven i can get my focus up to 1500 - Basically i can spam specials without my mind pool budging. Remember, food buffs don't give downers

Another tactic i like to hit my opponent with Strafe2, then proceed to work the damaged pool. Strafe2 is random pool targetting

The biggest threat to you in PVP are other riflemen. Most will hit your mind pool first, a smart rifleman will stun his foe with Flushingshot2, then proceed to work over his weakest pool.

Second to other riflemen are Bounty Hunters with lameshot.. err eyeshot. Flurry2 + Suppression fire works wonders on Bounty Hunters who have no defensive bonuses. Nothing looks sweeter than a Master BH lying helpless on his back.. as your break out your VK and proceed to work him over.

Melee combatants i rank being the third highest threat. 2.5 melee damage is a killer, KITE. If they chase use suppression fire to slow them down. Try to keep at least 25m between you and any melee professions

Same goes with pets.

My rule of PvP is to know my enemy... The first thing I do when I see a red dot is TAB, and /examine. I learn if they have armor, if so what kind....what title are they wearing, what weapon they have equipped, and I try to do a quick check of their badges to see what kind of professions they might be... After I gather all I can as fast as I can, I equip my weapon accordingly. One little tactic I use right off the bat is /aim, /SuppresionFire, /FlurryShot2. If I'm lucky enough to land those shots effectively....more than likely I've just layed my oppenent down for a cloud show, then I blast away with MindShot2. Being a Master Teras Kasi/Rifleman (Not quit Master RIfleman yet...give me time) I'm not all that worried if they get up close... I just drop my rifle and go unarmed. If my KD didn't work I lead with my TKA KD, then go in for the head hits. If I do during the course of the fight get incapped, so long as it's not a Sniper, I wait until they get in nice and close with me....then use Force of Will (Praying it works) and give them a nice little surprise with my fists.

"There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese. "

Nice tactics you guys use. I just run in a circle around them if they are ranged. I don't fool myself with drawn out strategies, I know I will get them before they get me, even if Im point blank roflmao.
