there have been strong hints from TH that these types of weapons (legendary / exceptional) and alike will be adjusted or to coin a phrase "adapted" in the CU.
it doesn't make sense to rewrite the whole combat system, weapons and armour stats and then to leave these unbalancing / gamebreaking anomolies in.
so all i can say is enjoy it while you can and hope the arrival of the CU is as timely as the smuggler revamp.

Unbalancing.... how you ever used a Legendary weapon, they are NOT that unbalancing unles syou're a Jedi, who himself is unbalancing, and needs to get smacked around

ever seen a 4k max damage T21 in action? , now imagine it in the hands of someone who has little or no respect for the other people playing the game.
i don't have a problem with these weapons if they are used responsibly and respectfully, unfortunately they have a tendancy not to be.
they are used as the i win button for the owner and the we win button for the guild groupies who hide behind them, who often as not won't pvp unless it is in attendance.

60% psg and 90% armour are not readily available to a lot of players.

Then they shouldn't expect to compete, sorry, but if you work hard for a good bit of money, you are entitled to be better than those around you. And they don't cost that much.

I remember reading a Post from a DEV that said weapons will change but your Uber weapons will still be uber.
Paraphrasing ofcourse.

What would we use ADK on if not for exceptional weapons? To ADK our noob clothing or what?
I choose not to believe any so called developer comments until they are official. I have so far not seen any posts about nerfing exceptional weapons. The only thing that have been posted is that stats on armour and weapons will be rebalanced "But good armor will still be good after the CU". If you have nay other information please post a link to the post.

Haha, almost as nice as my exceptional 2200 max dmg t21. /brag but then again, i got it from a friend who quit who shall remain nameless...

i have been on hands on a exeptional weapon
it was a vibro lance, and it destroyed 2 days before the realese of AD
anyways it had 1100 max dmg 1.3 speed and 77% wound chance, it got speed slice but i dint care.I used it alot agains juvis and in geo caves and it was pretty fast and easy,
i fighted a master fencer stacker, and he destroyed me, my weapon was doing like 40 dmg to him while he was doing me 200 dmg with hes stun baton. that was 1/4 max the dmg of my vl and had no AP, also i suck for pvp
i think only high dmg weapons are good if u have investigation 3, or loot-steal in pve with a 3k dmg t21,
