Thread: Top 6 Major Issues
1) T21
2) defensive skills

5) 2.5x melee dmg (maybe 1.5x?) 2.5x means most mobs that give xp = 1 shot me

They should change the 3x damage rifle player have and replace it by a stance damage mod.
standing = normal damage
kneeling = 25pct increased damage
prone = 50pct increased damage
This should aply to all profession, not only rifle player, but rifle get worst since we often prone, but we just have to stand to run, instead of having to switch weapon to not get kill as fast, imo

Last I checked, there WAS a damage multiplier for positioning just like that. Try it, lay prone and have your brawler friend hit ya for 10k, cause its 3x multiplier +2x multiplier. I could be wrong, but I am sure I read that somewhere.
Anyways.
1). T21 fix
2). Rifle vs Pistol Accuracy
3). Adjust cover. The immune to knockdown + posture changes is good concept. So is actually implementing the defensive bonuses its suppose'd to add. I would also think, if your in cover, youd be invisible on the radar...
4). Melee vs Rifle damage. Common, Im holding a rifle. Don't you think i'd be a little better at blocking a sword with a 4ft rifle than a 1/2 ft pistol? There should be a 3x damage to the condition.. that would make sense. Wear it down as they hack at it.
5). Fix suprise shot. It currently "cannot be used with this weapon" at least, for me it cant.
6). New guns.. I could easily see adding a sniper rifle with 20delay and close to 1000max damage. It would emphasize using aim, getting the right position, and then, well, sniping the creature / person out of existance.
I DONT see DPS as a problem. I never have... I've never had a problem out damaging my Master Pistoleer friend with his 40% sliced pistol (fwg5.. I think). Perhaps you people should try spamming Strafe shot 2, Flurry shot 2, Flushing shot 2, and Suprise Shot 2.... with a laser rifle and its ar2, I outdamage by far most of the time. Course it would have something to do with huge willpower and focus, but I can usually spam 2 times each of those. on average 1000-2000 damage, some going as low as 500 some as high as 3500, and the status modifying skills.. I just think the dps thing is blown out of proportion.
I agree, BUT if it is broken like many other things...IT WILL GET FIXED whether we ask for it or not. And believe me they know it is broken and are going to fix it...i just don't believe that us asking for it isn't going to get it fixed any faster.
I think we need to concentrate on things that are unbalanced vs things like a T21 that will be fixed regardless.

The trouble is with the new weapon decay rates, when you add in that powerup, a couple of gaming sessions will wreck that 30k T21 you just got(If the resources ever spawn on your server that is).
Like I said in a previous post, using headshot 3 I was hitting myself for over 100 mind a go on a laser rifle with 600/600 focus/willpower.
Love this idea, it means people will have a reason to stand still, giving melee characters more of a chance while also giving our posture up skills more use.

Our damage per second needs to be re looked at, for PvE dang it. Not PvP.
I cant killhardly anythign a friend can with a crappy scout blaster and novice pistoleer. And when i group with him i get 1/4 the xp he does.

-Knockdown when prone or at least when covered. Yes when we take cover we should be immune against knockdown. Btw, 'cover' mod doesnt seem to do anything.
-HAM costs - Please include this: We use Mind pool normally for our specials. When the HAM costs are sooo high it makes really no sense cause we risk way to much. PLEASE reduce it orchange the primary HAM to action or health so we can heal us.
-Accuracy. Btw, i have the feeling that i miss much more since yesterday. Can be VERY bad luck tho.
1) Rifle range must be extended to at least 90m, 120m would beideal. Otherwise, Pistol accuracy at ranges above 20m must benerfed to reflect differences and enable riflemen to have some type of tactical advantage in pvp combat. Right now we have none. A novicegunslinger can currently close distance w/ a rifleman too quickly and their accuracy from 60m is lethal; which is BS. This must be changed because it destroys the whole concept of a rifleman.
2) T21 rifle must be fixed if bugged and resources should be made avail able on all servers.( i cant get one yet on Tarq)
3) Riflemen must have a defense againest knockdown shot while prone or we should get a knockdown shot of our own.
4)Master riflemen ( fast,powerful w/ moderate mind cost)and Sniper! ( extremly high wound chanceandextremly slow rifle)should recieve new weapons to use.
Those are my gripes so far with this skill set.
