I've been using +injury treatment bio-clothing to give me the extra healing that the first line of medic would. I don't normally wear my helmet in combat, though I have it hot-keyed. I wear a turban, and an undershirt with mods. I also have a macro that gets me out of my armor, and into my other bio-clothing,quickly for a much neededheal.

I am 0030 medic, and have a total of +69 injury treatmeant in my bio-clothing. I can use stim-C's to heal over a thousand damage, on a good heal or at least four hundred on a not so good one. Getting out of my armor to heal also reduces my focus encumbrance so the heals are cheaper mind-wise. Granted I do have to pull myself out of range before switching.

The stim-B just doesnt heal fast enough to be used in the frontline. Now, being able to use Stim-C's gives you the flexibility of a fast heal to full, while retaining the use of Stim-B's for less stressful, and cheaper heals at other times.

I'm heading for Master Swordsman/Master Rifleman/Nearly Master Medic.

i'll be able to stack FOUR mind bleeds on mobs. Nice.

also, the rifle and sword defense mod's stack nicely.

Additionally, when damage mitigation comes, i'll have full damage mitigation for melee and ranged. With the medic skills, I can take care of myself and most of my group if necessary.

I have to ask the guys whos builds dont allow for scout terrain negotiation how they deal with this annoyance, i guess it doesnt matter as much now with mounts and vehicles on the way

I had to drop scout, and it is an annoyance. However, zigzagging up hills helps you keep moving, though it may just give a placebo effect.

In combat I deal with it by climbing to the highest spot before engaging. This way if I must retreat I retreat downhill while my target has to climb. This is the difference between getting killed and soloing a yellow/red NPC.

I do sorely miss it though...

Master Combat Medic working on Master Rifleman. Poisons are great, but they make me get more combat xp than rifle xp. My first trained skill in rifles was 0001 and I had no combat xp stored. It may help to get that speed first but when I need to get rifle xp I will have to do it without one of my most useful combat tools.

I'm a huge fan of the Master Rifleman and Master Doctor Combo, with this you are the ultimate support player and also very effective on your own. Buffing yourself is great and makes you into a tank (with the right packs, droid and clothing etc) and you can heal yourself to full no matter what and you can buff res and heal your friend and team mates. You can also make good money from buffin if you need it and you can pretty much any mission in game with this template and teh right tactics. Also this template is great in PvP and exceptional in group combat.I love the ability to protect and heal myself vs almost anything and to do the same to my friends while at the same time having and incredible damage output. This combo suits me down to the ground and in my view is one of the better ones.

FatDrunkPriest you are not alone. I too am going for a master combat medic/master rifleman combo. I'm still grinding up the ranks and I haven't done any PvP yet but for PvE it works like a charm.
