I don't need to feel 'special', but your post is just wrong.


At the folllowing link you all can find a detailed description of the ingredients and stats used in creating 72m, 76m, and 86m poisons:

The potency on these was 82, meaning they might be resisted 15% of the time, they last for about 10 min...I have since made ones that almost never resist with similar range.


The range is too long (I was a rifleman before becoming CM), and in other posts on the CM board you will see me calling for range adjustments.


The range is too long, providing CMs with mostly riskless kills.

Windsplitter is totally correct with my intentions of this. First, I think the developers should stop nerfing things as a fix. I suspect that this is the quickest and easiest way for them, but not the intentions of almost any SWGer in anything they write. The fix should more times than not be modifications and more power to the weaker skills rather than taking away from the stronger. There are few cases shich power should actually be taken away from th player. I am just stating that there are some changes that NEED to be taken up with the rifleman. Added distance to a shot, actually being able to conceal himself by using something like a stalk and ghilly suit (which could not be worn with armor but would allow him to be concealed from view and yes, radar, unless the stalk is blown). This is just a couple of my suggestions.


Another add-on here. Any developer that says they cannot modify or change a code, so-called hard coded should be fired. Either they are lying, or they developed a poor code that will not be able to continue to work in the years to come.


One more thing.. Why can a CM throw poison further than a scout or a ranger can throw a trap?




Devs clearly do not play their creations and are utter clueless as to the results of their nerfs. They seem to be in love with their ideas and ignore the results.

This is my whole point, I don't really know much about CMs so I can't make a judgement call on the range issue there. However the fact that they CAN hit from 80m+ shows that there is no "hard cap"that I've been told about many times.


Note: I don't support simply letting rifles hit from 80m while running, using mind attacksand AEs.
