here's my trick: mindshot 1, mindshot 2, feign.
or just bring a tank, and spam headshot3 with your T21 
i find that feign death with rifleman works REAL nice... kept me alive more than once, and iexterminated a sith-squad last night, where all others died within 30 secs

I assume a master ch pet could do the tanking? Say a Kimo?

an fs master rifleman can solo an elder unbuffed and without armor.
use your T-21 and conceal shot. stay prone at 60m and its easy pickings(or at least it looked easy when i watched a guildie do it )
)naturally this tactic requires that your not in a cave

i have no experience with creatures, unless u count a rockmite, and it wasn't even a BE-one...
i just use my defense-stacked buddy we did a krayt together, he drawed the bites, i spammed hs3 for 15 mins 
yeah, my F6 button(my hotkey for hs3)has alot of use
not sure a kimo can withstand 15 mins of elder-pounding... not unless u have a doc/CM to constantly heal it.

3/4 mins sounds about right.
I had a TK/Fencer tank for me while I ate away at her mind.
Seemed like it took me 20 seconds (speed capped + 750 T21)
(speed capped + 750 T21)Having a tank with you takes quite a bit of worry away

What i do is Conceal until a bleed lands. Stand and kite her up and down hills till she slows, keep Strafing away.
Not died once, using 90% base armour. Helps alot! GL

Yesterday i had fresh buffs, i was all ready to go out and hunt some rancors...when i was taken off guard by a NS spellweaver, i didnt even know what was aggroing me, untill i seen her, by that time i was already dead lol!

That actually depends on what weapon the elder is using. If its using kinetic weaponyour pet is as good as dead but if it pulls out a power hammer or stun baton and your like me and have a pet with 100% Blast/Stun resist then your set (Kinetic and energy resists cap at 60%). And just so ya know the skin of the pet has almost nothing to do with how strong it is (if itsbio-engineered).
Also what other damage types have you guys seen elders do besides kinetic blast and stun.
