Pretty sure this is how looting works. It takes your damage and adds it up along with everyone elses in the group into 1 number. Then it divides it by how many people there are in the group to get the average. Whichever group gets the highest gets the loot.

If something is vulnerable to a damage type. Than it is considered AR0 when hit by that weapon. But the weapon is also considered AP0 in that case. So you do 100% damage in that case (combat spam will match floaty damage).
Which is why hitting something that is Energy Vulnerable with a T21 is pretty useless. You lose the AP bonus completely.
