ghost doesnt make sense. while it does sound cool, just think about it
silent assassin sounds good
Check out the post about Marine Ghost Teams. Ghosts are military lingo for operatives that are sent in to accomplish missions (such as assassinations, sabotage, recon, etc.) under cover of extreme secrecy. They're the ones whose knowledge of is disavowed if they're ever caught.
The titles Ghost and Assassin sound good... here's a few I found just searching around on the Web, some are pretty funny but I thought I'd throw them in here for people to look at.
Spotter
Stalker
Camper ( Counterstrike anyone )
Distant Ninja ![]()
SpecOps
I'm expecting the F.B.I to be knocking on my door any minute to pick me up for searching for titles of this type.. hehe ![]()
Hmmmm....
Since its been determined in a previous post (http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=rifleman&message.id=45700) that the majority of us are sex, drug, and rock and roll lapdance alcoholic junkies how about the title of... PIMP DADDY
What? Why not? ![]()

I agree that both Ghost and Assassin would be cool.
A liitle background on Assassins:
Word History: At first glance, one would be hard-pressed to find a link between pleasure and the acts of assassins. Such was not the case, however, with those who gave us the word assassin. They were members of a secret Islamic order originating in the 11th century who believed it was a religious duty to harass and murder their enemies. The most important members of the order were those who actually did the killing. Having been promised paradise in return for dying in action, the killers, it is said, were made to yearn for paradise by being given a life of pleasure that included the use of hashish. From this came the name for the secret order as a whole, hassasin, “hashish users.” After passing through French or Italian, the word came into English and is recorded in 1603 with reference to the Muslim Assassins.

Lets go with the historical background of this word for our new title: Muon Junky
I think the purpose of the new title is to establish identity. With this particular tree in the rifleman profession, you need to be careful not to get confused with other elite professions. With the list of choices I've seen so far, it seems as if we're getting close to BH (assassin or stalker) or Ranger (ghost or concealer). Rfileman already has a menacing title (sniper). Maybe it might be good to go with something that makes a stronger statement along the "hunter" title.
I like "Predator." This can be read into by others and taken different ways, but it is a stronger variation of hunter so it works for me. "Shadow" sounds nice, but does it really fit the bill? I also thought "Silencer" has potential.
If I had to back one suggestion so far, I'd pick "Predator".
