Oh, as an idea for "stickied" threads, I have some:
"Templates for PvE" and "Templates for PvP". Perhaps if we catalog a bunch of templates in a sticky, it will eliminate the constant influx of "What should I add to Master Rifleman?" posts. Plus, stickied threads will allow people to better compare and contrast things, as they won't have to sift through old posts. And naturally, this would have constant updates as well, so that the new stats will replace the old ones (assuming this actually happens). If this is already covered in the FAQ stickies, I apologize for flogging the horse, but I simply think thattemplates should have their ownsections.

Oh, I hear you loud and clear, I just thought that it'd be cool having everything in oneplace, nice and neat, but I totally agree with what you are saying. People hate us enough as it is, so why bring on more grief? As I said, this was just a suggestion for cleaning up the boards, nothing more, nothing less
And I know you weren't flaming me, so no worries.

I may do a template section of the FAQ I've got stickied now. It would help keep everything in one place.
Question is do I just cover the combat professions or do I cover them all?
Also with the number of combinations it could get excessive. Maybe just list each profession and say how it could help compliment Rifleman?

Ya mabey a post on how each profession compliments another, or how Riflemen would be used as a support profession for crafters who want to help on hunts at such (though more and more IM seeing crafters with 2 or more accounts).
But some basic ideas might be something, like master Riflemen and XXXXX with this as support, but like you said, the combinations arel limitless.

Well, I don't think we need to get too in-depth with template coverage. My idea was that enough people would post their own templates and further discussion could take place. Questions about templates would naturally be encouraged. I think that if such a sticky is created, that all we'd need to do is list the "tried and true templates". For example, Master Rifleman is complimented by Master Fencer because you will now have a great defense to back up an already great offensive character. The combination of templates is endless, so I think that if we just make a dedicated area, the players will take care of the rest.

That would be greatly appreciated. I'll cut and paste it into the FAQ or add it to the link section. I'm working on a bunch of reports right now and getting stuff ready for Guruweaver to take to the Summit so I wouldn't be able to get to this for a week or two at least.

I'm seeing a lot of new names on the Rifle boards. Just wanted to take this opportunity to reintroduce myself to all the new Rifles out there.
Welcome aboard and thanx for contributing here.
