i've been at 200k pistol xp banked for 6 professions now.. i have marksman for rifle and special abilities, but don't even have pistol1. she's fine as long as she keeps novice rifle.. and probably could even drop that as long as she kept marksman.

I think it's fine as long as she never uses her rifle to shoot anything. Once she uses it though, then her xp will go to whatever the cap will be. So just don't get tempted into shooting your rifle again...a temptation I would be unable to give in to.
yeah taht will be the hard part. not using the god gun. its just time to do something else. i know i will be back someday or i wouldnt be trying to save my XP heh. the XP SHOULD stay as long as i dont drop novice rifle. i did drop novice rifle for the holo grind and lost 800k of my XP. so it should stay. i am going to have that same issue with CH soon as i start dropping it i wont be able to use pets again or i will lose the 300k i have banked in that. but im not sure that is sucha big deal since CH xp is so easy to get.
as for HARPOON you still dont know what your talking about.
i started out as a bounty hunter and came to rifle sideways when it had a 2.5x damage penalty and solo ground it without a pet. i didnt become a CH until i was 1 box from master. i took up rifle because of the unplayable nature of bounty hunting. anyone that was a real BH and not in it just for the weapon dabbling knows what i am talking about. i may even go off and do comando before i return to rifle. but i am definately stuck in a rut krayting nite after nite and its become... routine. its time to kick it up a notch and take up a less powerful skill and see if i can survive and still hunt the big game. worse case ill have to re-grind CH and rifle neither of which are hard to do now that i have been there.

Man, you really are just a #$#%. Haven't read a ton of your posts, but I really wish you'd go away. Barb is an avid, constructive poster on our boards and she has always stated that player bounties are her biggest desire. The rest of us are going to be sad to see her go....but wouldn't be if you'd go 
Barb, /salute. I've always enjoyed hearing from you on the boards. I've gathered a lot about your gameplay and your style and I must say I think I'd enjoy hunting with you. Even as a long-time master riflemenI think thatI've learned some stuff aboutthe profession from you too

When VolstedGridban posted that his computer crashed alot of people posted simalar things HARPOON. When Aldeon left we posted a hella lot of crap too. These people are cool on this forum thats why we poststuff like this.
(Thats also why I post "Congrats" for every "I just mastered Rifleman" post.)
It's about keeping a nice forum, unlike others were n00bs get flamed to hell for asking questions.
Well if that "dude" was a rifleman who happened to post 4 times, 2 of which were in polls then yes he would get little replies outside of the standard "well hope you have fun in whatever else you try...but after rifles I doubt it " response. However when one of the main posters leaves the profession what exactly do you expect to happen? Just ignore it as if it never happened? Hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil?
If sotaudi or eaca left tomorrow they'd get just as many replies if not more-so then this and do you know why? We are an actual community which tries to help each other out, with the exception of a few trolls and some FoTM riflemen that don't really know the class that well.But then I suppose I just brought up the reason for your posting didn't I? You are trolling because you know your point is stupid, and wrong and will likely just prompt a response similiar to the one I gave above, only perhaps a bit more inflammatory, to ruin a perfectly fond farewell.
which brings up an interesting point.. it'd be neat to see how many posts a person had in a given forum.
too bad that's not an option.

i will still keep up as long as there are no major changes with rifles in helping out the newbs to the profession. i love rifles too much to just up and leave. you guys are too kind
just a profession shift and ill liekly shift back if the bounty weapons line dont work out, but i want to master BH first since i never finished it.gone but not for good
