as far as whether slicing has an effect or not perhaps someone that is doing the FS grind can buy a unsliced T21 and a sliced one and grind through several sets of 900k weapons with each and compaire the results.

but PuPs definately degrade the weapons fast.

another thing that may have a massive effect on weapon decay is the resources used. i know that my krayt T21 was made with far far superior resources than the grind ones i purchased. this may have a more telling factor than anything.

the reason i am leaning this way is taht for a long time now i have heard jedi whining about how fast their crystals decay. my lightsabers are made with perfect and near perfect resources and so far i have ground out 380k jedi XP since getting Jedi and the one colour crystal i have used has lost a whle 65 points of durability. i know from other people's complaints that this is not the norm. so since it is impossible for a lightsaber to be sliced or PuP'd something else is going on with this. my thinking is that quality of resources affect the overall quality of the weapon and this can amplify or mitigate the effects of decay through usage.

so PuPs may not be the only factor involved as it is reasonable to think that lightsaber decay follows the same basic rules of weapon decay.
